Staying locally on a sun drenched late May weekend, we sought out The Grind for brekkie, and it was great. All served from an Airstream van (which I'd love!), the coffees were perfect, as were the brioche buns stuffed with (in our case) black pub, bacon and eggs, all top quality and served with smiles from the team (even though they'd been out till 1am at the Harry Stiles gig in Edinburgh!!). And the view isn't bad either, as you can see.

Stopped here for coffee and hot chocolate before our walk then came back and had some lunch we both had filled rolls then some delicious homemade crepes and drinks . The food was very good and the service was great. Definitely work a stop and great value for money.

Nice snack van in great location, had a hot roll that was nice with good quality ingredients.. coffee was great but cup was really small, no option for a large so had a half cup of coffee. Would go again if i am in the area

We bought two coffees and agree with others that they were very small, even for a flat white. The two girls who were serving were nice and friendly but we did wonder if they could cope with a big queue of folk. We got a French cake (Canele) which was a dark colour, not like the photo on here! It was rubbery and did not live up to the fancy name, it was without flavour!

Our biggest disappointment was with the Victoria sponge. A decent size of slice but cutting into the sponge, it was dense and had no ‘sponge’ left. The icing was very cold and the overall experience was of a cake which had been frozen or kept in a very cold fridge! After a swim I love a cake and a coffee. This was such a disappointment I would normally give feedback in person but we had driven away to...

We stopped by here before getting on the ferry to Isle of May. The food & service were spectacular! Wasn’t certain what to expect before arriving but I was pleasantly surprised.

They ran out of tomato sauce and she replace with garlic lemon - such an amazing combo !!!

Flat whites and crepes were spectacular too!

The area is very nice, there’s swimming bits but it seems we came just before the season was on - so the space to rent gear or wetsuits was closed, which was a bit of shame.

As for when it’s the right season and coming back to the Grind I’d def...
