The Hub — Restaurant in Scotland

Had the full hub breakfast in there £11.90 inc a bottle of water, for me what you get is not worth nearly £12, the lorne sausage was the cheapest most nastiet and salty lorne sausage ive ever had the misfortune to eat, the bacon was good, the link sausage was ok but they only give you 1, thought you might have got 2 for that price, they do give you 2 lorne but they were horrible, so cheap and nasty, eggs ok too, beans were good but you only get a tiny portion and the bread was decent too but they only give you 1 of those tiny prepacked portions of butter and that didn't even cover the half slice never mind the full, overall the breakfast was disappointing for the price you pay, staff are friendly and the place is nice, would i go back, possibly, the menu looks ok and there are other stuff to try, not anything that includes that lorne...

Went here for the first time this afternoon, we were welcomed with a warm welcome from one of the staff and invited to take a seat. Your immediately transported into a cosy atmosphere in the hub. The decor is fantastic, and to find out it was the owner who designed it! Wow! It's absolutely stunning, a treat to the eye.

Now the food - my friend and I had a giggle at the names of the items on the menu. We decided on the Sweet Chilli O' Mine and the You little Clucker. Both were so tasty. Our taste buds were well and truly dancing from the mix of flavours.

All in all, I would highly recommend coming in if your in the area. I don't live local but I can tell you I will certainly be...

Was in for breakfast today which was very nice ,but we could not enjoy our food or conversation with constant interuptions at our table by the slightly older lady waitress with short dark hair ,she was very well mannered but kept leaning into the table lifting saucers while drink our coffee, lifting out butter paper ,constantly interrupting which ruined the whole experience for us, it's actually put me of now as this is not my first experience with the same waitress we where in and out in 20 mins ,at a cost of £29...
