The Humble Burger — Restaurant in Scotland

Normally really enjoy the food here but ordered tonight on a Sunday and the quality really was just not there. My chicken burger was not even remotely crispy and just seemed really slapped together with little care and the taste of it and my husbands burger was just not that great, very disappointing and will think twice before ordering again for a bit.

Update: went back recently and was blown away by the food. The chicken burgers were so crispy and huge! Very pleased with it and will be back again.

Edit: to address the owner, the chicken didn’t lack crisp because of the sauce, it was hardly coated in breading at all. I also spent most of the last night running to and from the bathroom after eating the food, which was the only thing I ate that day that I didn’t prepare myself. It’s very disappointing to see how you guys handle non 5 star reviews. As a business you should know that it happens and your glaring popularity won’t change despite one 3...

So I usually am very reluctant in giving reviews especially to burger restaurants as there are so many of those and are just ok... BUT this one REALLY deserves 5* as the food , service and atmosphere was phenomenal. Service gentleman looked after us from beginning to the end and when food arrived it was beautiful and extremely tasty and filling taken under consideration that it was vegan burger that usually in other restaurants are soggy and horrible but not in THB!! THB have choice of 3 vegan burgers and also my carnivorous friends loved their meat burgers so much no one if I spoke for like 10 min hahah TRULY BEST...

Hands down if you're after a food experience different from the rest - this is the place to visit! Take yourselves inside and immerse in the choice of foods that noone else offers in Elgin. Expertly thought out menu for those who are foodies. Have a chat with the folks behind the counter and feel free to ask questions they're only too happy to answer.

And......should you need to have a wee wait (cos good food isn't a fast make), next door is a very accommodating bar where you can also scoff your food once you've had it made - BONUS!
