What a great dinner night. My partner and I booked for the vegan night, and it was amazing! We arrived and got a seat shortly after.

The set menu was fantastic. The mushroom appetizer was my favourite dish of the night! The lasagna was unbelievable.

Although I'm not vegan, I'm lactose intolerant, and I was amazed with the cheese in the lasagna and the dessert. The curry dish was really good, but the rice was a little overcooked for my taste. However, the flavour was on point, and the overall experience was great! The crumble was really well balanced, crunchy, and lightly sweet. The custard?! Wow 👌 the waitress that served us was really kind and shared the ice cream used for the night. It's hard to find such creamy plant based ice cream! Thanks for that.

In the end, we had a great night. Service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was lovely. We will come back for other dinner...

Our family of 6 adults shared a wonderful lunch yesterday in celebration of Easter. The welcome and attentiveness of staff was warm and professional and the restaurant had great friendly atmosphere with attention to detail, notably in the hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant. We had the Meze soup starter, three decent sample bowls, any of whose soups were delicious, leaving the diner with the pleasurable task of choosing the order to tackle them. The toasties we chose were varied, but had a common theme of delicious taste, and great presentation with a unique fresh salad. Deserts again were varied, a fantastic choice of attractive home baked delights, backed up with coffee. We left the restaurant with great sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. The staff work really hard to provide a fantastic experience, with a note to eco friendliness, and we will certainly be...

Hidden little gem which initially from the outside doesn't look inviting, however looks can be deceiving so don't judge the book by its cover.

This building has been almost everything in its lifetime, a cinema, a village hall, even a scout hut. Now it's been brought into the 21st century.

The food was excellent, the friendliness of the staff made the visit even more pleasurable and you were not rushed in this dog friendly café.

Whatever you choose to eat, drink or both save some room for what appeared to be an endless array of gorgeous looking and no doubt gorgeous tasting cakes.

I shall be definitely seeking this place out again should I be passing through or at least passing nearby as it's definitely worth the...

The Lass O'Gowrie is an absolute gem of a lunch spot that we’re thrilled to have discovered. Booking through Facebook Messenger was easy and efficient—a smart move given how popular the place clearly is. The food was excellent from start to finish. The toasties were perfectly crisp, generously filled, and bursting with flavour, while the soup was wonderfully hearty and thick, ideal for a cozy midday meal. However, the true highlight was the cake selection—an astonishing variety that defies belief. Every slice we tried was top-tier, beautifully made, and clearly crafted with care. This charming spot is a must-visit for anyone in the area.
