The Rookery Café — Restaurant in Scotland

Such a lovely garden cafe surrounded by rookery trees. The menu is so beautifully simple but done so well! Soups, cheese boards, fresh breads, homemade cakes and biscuits. And even some easter treats. The cheeses were incredible, nice generously thick wedges. Home made rhubarb compote which was so good with everything! I popped back later in the afternoon to grab some pistachio and dark chocolate cookies to have on the beach. So yum and remind me of the mermaid stone green found on Iona! This was a great find on our trip to Iona. We had the soup for lunch which was delicious! They also had a few home baked items which all looked really good.
