Such a lovely garden cafe surrounded by rookery trees. The menu is so beautifully simple but done so well! Soups, cheese boards, fresh breads, homemade cakes and biscuits. And even some easter treats. The cheeses were incredible, nice generously thick wedges. Home made rhubarb compote which was so good with everything! I popped back later in the afternoon to grab some pistachio and dark chocolate cookies to have on the beach. So yum and remind me of the mermaid stone green found on Iona! And the owner was so lovely and passionate. A gem on Iona not to be missed!

Lovely cafe with homemade food, however the day we visited they were running a limited menu! Nevertheless, the scones, soup and cakes were delicious, the iced coffee was also very nice. They have outdoor seating in the garden as well, which looked lovely on the sunny day!

We had some wonderful fresh soup and well made fruit scones here. Incredibly tasted food. The cafe is small and quite plain but while the food menu is limited to just a few items, we were glad we ate lunch there and would visit again if returning to Iona.

This was a great find on our trip to Iona. We had the soup for lunch which was delicious! They also had a few home baked items which all looked really good. (I came back later for a scone and they'd run out so if you like something, buy it!) The staff were so lovely and gave us some great recommendations for exploring Iona, which we really appreciated. They also have some lovely peaceful seating outside and a gorgeous garden shared with the...

The “Rookery Cafe” is always our go to place when visiting the island of “Iona” We have visited on 5 occasions and are never disappointed with the food that is on offer. The food is home made and the scones, cakes & soup are always on our list of food to have. The staff are very friendly and although small and basic it’s a...
