Wonderful friendly service and brilliant food. Valerie knows all her regular customers which is always a sign of a great restaurant. I have eaten here three times. It is nearly impossible to get a table so book early. When we were first told that people booked a year in advance we were somewhat surprised but it is so popular that this is necessary. The Arran Lamb is delicious and served with lots of sides. Deserts - I have had both the pavlova and crumble were both wonderful as well.

About 25mins very scenic drive from Brodick you find what looks to all like a quaint little tea shop. How wrong you will be, its not a tea shop and its not open during the day. Come evening magic happens and the most amazing food is created. It is well worth the visit not only for the amazing food but for the warm and friendly manner in which you are greeted and treated

A most unlikely place at the top of Arran in a small simple cottage. Serving hearty home style cooking in a traditional environment it certainly is a popular spot. BYOB so no booze on tap. Lots of local foods available and a very pleasant service. Food is good though doesn't quite hit the mark for a five. Still, a great little spot near the distillery.

The Stags Pavilion has been booked solid, but due to a cancelation I and my SO were able to reserve a table. During this trip to the Isle of Arran, I was able to try venison for my first and second time. My second being at the Stags Pavilion. It started slightly warm and chewy, though my second bite was cold. The meat was clearly cooked all the way through. This leads me to believe it was cooked beforehand and reheated. My SO's lamb dish was even colder. The staff said they would bring us a brand new dish. My SO's dish sadly was a little too fatty. I still believe that the venison was reheated as there was a charred part that I normally see with reheated food. This experience was more disappointing as my first time consuming venison was delicious (different restaurant). Neither of us finished our food. The meals were not worth...

This is a lovely little restaurant full of quaint things to look at...gives it a cottage type feel. The outside dies not reflect the holiness within. The choice of menu is excellent and the food tastes wonderful. Considering how good it was I was shocked when I got the bill....it is VERY reasonably priced indeed. It's also BYOB which is nice and they dont charge corkage. The staff are very welcoming. I will definitely be going back. But you have to book well in advance. Its understandably busy. Thoroughly...

Booked based on lots of positive reviews but didn’t find it as good. I had the lamb which had been slow cooked and (I would say) reheated, which came with peas which were almost brown, and very soft veg partly covered in some kind of white sauce. My parents found their meals a bit oily and bland. Puddings were microwaved and my bread and butter pudding was completely soft and dripping with fat as a result - none of the oven crust you’d expect. Service was friendly but overall there are better...
