It has been a while since visiting the Storehouse, only my second time since start of Lock Down March 2020. First time with a friend and second with my husband. I have to say it was the loveliest experience both times. They have excelled in so many ways since the last reopening even though it has always been top of my list for eating out. The food has always been so good there and in fact I would say exceptional, but the presence of a new kind of energy fills the place up. They have made some little changes inside the restaurant like so subtle but enough to notice. Little twinkly lights, gifts as you come through the door catches your eye. It is spotless even inside the toilets and very well organised. The buzz of happy people chatting and eating and laughing was definitely felt during our visits. First visit, we sat outside looking at the beautiful Cromarty Firth and the Second most recent visit inside the restaurant itself. The staff were lovely. Cannot do enough for you. And the new manager Mark is lovely and comes across as very professional. He is so friendly and welcoming and you can feel he has a great rapport with his staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our food as its all so fresh and all local.produce. The prices are so competitive with the restaurants in Inverness especially retaining great quality food. The Storehouse and The new manager and all the staff there should be proud of themselves for continuing to always supersed a great food out experience. I would highly recommend a visit from anywhere in the Highlands to the Storehouse. Want to enjoy fabulous great quality freshly made food and your spirits to be lifted then heres the...

This is one of our favourite places to come. We come at least twice a month. We usually have some food, buy some goodies in the shop and then go for a walk along the Firth. Its always a great experience. This year(2020) has been testing and we hadn't visited since the start of the year, before Lockdown. We came back yesterday and it was so lovely to be back. The staff, as always, were so welcoming and helpful. Things are very different now but they made it feel as normal as possible. The food was amazing, service effortless, hand sanitisation throughout the building and the shop stocked with goodies. Outside was a well laid out fruit and veg cabin, where we stocked up for our Christmas meals. I went into the Storehouse grumpy due to a panic over last minute Christmas shopping and new lockdown rules. I came out feeling warm, full and Christmassy, not to mention relieved and happy as we'd managed to get last minute pressies and a food shop. Its a cracking local business and is extremely well managed. The staff are just exceptional. The food, shop and locally sourced produce are excellent and keeps us returning. Don't ever change Storehouse. We love...

Signs confusing, one says wait to be seated, this never happened. Other says wait until called forward to order food. Ordered haddock and chips, then managed to find a socially distanced table tucked away in a corner. Haddock was a small piece of tangy fish in half cooked batter, served on some sort of plasticised paper bulked up with plenty of chips, a heap of curly green stuff and a tiny dollop of something like tartar sauce if you can find it. But it was edible. Noticed tables and chairs were cleaned between sitters but saw several people wondering around, with trays, looking for a table. Trying to get out of the building was a terrifying experience. A gift shop area has been set up in a corner of the dining area, one person browsing blocks exit. There is only one door used for an entrance and an exit for both the shop and the dining area. The foyer area was rammed with people shoulder to shoulder queuing to order food and more were trying to get in. Couldn't get any where near the hand sanitizer, just had to run the gauntlet to exit. Why on earth they allow do many in when there are no tables, I don't understand. Will not be...

Michelle and the team at The Storehouse Restaurant rose to the occasion to help make our daughter's birthday extra special! With the world on lock down, 1 email to the amazing staff at The Storehouse and her favorite salted caramel butter cream chocolate cake was not only made but delivered to Gabrielle. From Switzerland we got to celebrate ...singing blowing out the candles (which Michelle included) by video chat. Our 3 year old granddaughter Nora was thrilled with the mini party for her Mom....The Storehouse restaurant is also offering delicious meals, frozen fresh and delivered to help you through these challenging times. We can't thank The Storehouse enough for their commitment to their customers. We can't wait to come back and enjoy your beautiful restaurant in person! Cheers!

What a Gem – The Storehouse is a Must-Visit! The staff was a.w.e.s.o.m.e. !!! So kind, smiling, and genuinely helpful – they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The venue itself is superb: plenty of parking, a lovely farm shop full of tempting local goodies, and a beautifully arranged interior with cozy touches. There's also outdoor seating with a nice view, perfect for a relaxed break. Though the small exhibition was unfortunately closed, everything else more than made up for it. Prices were fair both in the shop and for the food – and speaking of the food… Dear Lord, that was something! Absolutely delicious and beautifully served, clearly made with care and love. We truly thank you for that experience. If you're anywhere nearby – just go. You won't regret it!

We stopped here to buy food as we were on our way home from holiday. It is well signposted and the car park is big but can still be hard to find a space, it is a popular place. We searched for Scottish food only, bought blue cheese, seaweed snacks, vegetables, eggs (we even had an egg box to get 10p off) rhubarb juice, yogurt and full fat milk. There is an exhibition beyond the shop in the original building on the site and we had a look. It automatically starts when you enter and explains how the building was used in the past. There are further exhibits on the clans, especially Munro, so if that is your name or it is in your family tree maybe it would be worth a look. We enjoyed it.
