My wife & I had pre booked a table at the Strathy Inn prior to a long drive up from Skye. We arrived at 7.00pm and were greeted in a friendly manner by the owner Craig who showed us to a very pleasant table in the small bar area.||There was a soothingly quiet atmosphere about the place with just a few other diners enjoying their meals. We ordered starters & main meals & whilst we waited we had a good chat with Craig who was very helpful, giving us directions to Strathy Beach & generally some info about the area, etc. We found him to be a polite & welcoming host which we've found is sometimes not always the case in out of the way, rural community pubs! ||We enjoyed our delicious starters & main courses of Steak Pie & the evening's special of Thai Green Curry, which I particularly enjoyed due to its flavour & authenticity. And I must mention the fine selection of local bottled beers on offer behind the bar, two of which I sampled & was glad of, being a bit of a real ale buff!|| All in all, the Strathy Inn was just what we needed to relax & unwind at the start of our visit to this beautiful part of Scotland. Highly...

My son and I arrived at this Bed and Breakfast after a very long, but totally awesome, journey up from Invermoriston on our motorbikes. Don’t be put off by its outside appearance; this is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay (the best night’s sleep we had in the whole of our four day trip). We had a warm, cosy room with a really nice en-suite bathroom. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, chosen from a menu, was absolutely brilliant! We had a table booked in the bar for our evening meal and I have to say the food was absolutely top notch! Safe off-road parking for the bikes and the free wifi was good too. The surroundings of course are simply stunning. We would have no hesitation in...

We went for the NC500, and we stayed for one night in this Inn. Everything was really good. Literally It feels like home, and you feel the countryside that you went for. They have only 3 bedrooms to accommodate customers and a parking space. Room 2 was quite big, with a huge bathroom and it was very clean. We had a really good and enjoyable sleep at night. Nice and small breakfast in the morning to start your day like home with some cereal, yoghurt, fruits, eggs, croissant jams, juice, and bread. I highly recommend this place

Just had a lovely stay in the Strathy Inn. Really friendly hosts, Craig and Heather made us most welcome. Stunning setting near to Strathy Point where we spent a peaceful time looking for dolphins and whales. Nearby beach in a beautiful cove. Tasty heary breakfast with wonderful mushrooms. Well appointed room with good shower. Woke up to a view of sheep in the fields opposite. Recommend staying a few nights to enjoy the local area. If you like scenic areas you should holiday around here

(Only restaurant) Small charming Pub/Inn with a very nice host. They offer a good range of ales, spirits, lemonades and food for every diet. (Vegetarian/vegan) The food was absolutely delicious and definitely some of the best we have ever eaten in the whole UK. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Strathy Inn restaurant for travelers on the north coast!
