I DO NOT RECOMMEND, ADVISE TO AVOID FROM A FAR.
Worst food I have ever seen. Baguette from Lidl for 50p, sausage from a jar from Aldi for £ 1 (for a few pieces) topped with some sauce that should be spicy. I have the impression that the fries were taken from another customer's plate (who did not eat them all) and reheated. Plus Battered Burger. As the name suggests, I was expecting a burger. In a roll with vegetables and sauces. However, I received the meat itself, it was stale. Mixed with something that's hard to say (I only took one bite). When squeezed it oozed fat, smelly. What is visible in the photos on this profile is not true. I paid £ 9 for it and it was the worst food money spent in a long time. After throwing away the food, even the seagulls refused to eat it.
Another thing is service. i was ordering food with a friend, they were confused. He got the same as me, even though he asked for different sauces. There is a lot of confusion and staff...
Read moreThis place if not working full time, but the times it works definitely give it a visit ! We had some Breaded haddock and large fries, when they say large they are REALLY LARGE(Most propably will be enough to feed 2 adults and a kid) and not only that, but on top of all the potatoes was fresh ones, not frozen processed ones you would expect, the fish was cooked in a Ghee and not a palm oil or some any other fast food oil,the taste was diferrent to your average fish & chips shop. The staff really friendly, inside a little outdated but looking at the village ,dont have to be something wow,end of the day is a food stop and not an wedding event place. They accept card & cash payments, the street is free to park too ,This comes in handy after the long walk on the blue door surroundings(Rock solitude) ! We all enjoyed the food and thank you for using a fresh ingredients! I would recommend this 101% ! Thank you for being there folks,appreciated...
Read moreThis is a very quaint setup of a cafe/chippy/ice cream shop that is quite pretty and nostalgic at the same time. At the mai entrance its a lovely bright cafe serving more than chipshop food in a more refined cafe room. To the side is a small alley leading to an entrance to the same shop but a separste area where you can order your fish n chips or Ice cream to go. I grew up on the east coast and have seen this in a few shops in coastal towns and villages. Nowhere else in my extensive travels.
I had a very large double scoop wafer cone served by a very polite young lady to take down to the Shakkin brig just along the road and down a fairly steep track to the...
