4 of us went to kitchen 69 in the woodhead bar Sunday evening. Table booked for 7pm. We were the only customers in the restaurant. 2 out of 3 starters they couldnt give us and one main course unavailable. Cannot fault the quality of the food. Home made chips and one of the best tasting sauces I have had. However, very small portion sizes for the expensive price you are paying. The chicken in the main course was like a thinly sliced portion from a chicken breast and who wants a cold salad as a side on a hot meal!!! Kitchen closed at 8pm and chef left the building and although our waitress Lynne (who was friendly and attentive) said she could get us dessert - we didn't bother.
