Such a lovely community cafe…so good we visited three times whilst on the island for a week. Delicious smoky bacon rolls. Great cuppa. Yummy butternut squash soup. Oh and the cakes…a must! Recommend the passion cake, chocolate cake and Victoria sponge cake…so light and tasty. The ladies here are super friendly too and full of helpful knowledge. Toilets are super clean. Plenty of parking. Museum next door too. Thank you for a fab find on our Isle of Lewis/Harris trip. A great place to stop

The cafe has more than delicious cakes: the Cullen Skink was lovely, as were the bacon rolls, hot smoked salmon salad with homemade oatcakes. Homemade strawberries and cream ice cream. Definitely worth a trip out to Uig, or a stop on your way. Plus it's all in a good cause for the Uig community.

What a lovely day, weather fantastic, so we sat outside and had a little bite. It's nothing that special, just tostie and sausage rolls but it is very good. Its run by the community for the community, I think. Lovely people and well worth it.

On a wet and blustery day, a large group of bikers, me included, stopped off at Uig Cafe, during our rally ride-out. The staff in the cafe coped admirably with our descent on them, serving us hot drinks and food timeously whilst still tending to their other customers. Everything was delicious, thank you. Hats off to you all ladies...

June 2018. A great community café run by volunteers. Popular with locals and tourists. Good tea and great coffee. I had a smoked salmon salad and carrot cake which was good quality and quantity and reasonable value for money. There is also an attached local museum which is well worth a visit, the £2 entry ticket is...
