Uig Community Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Such a lovely community cafe…so good we visited three times whilst on the island for a week. Delicious smoky bacon rolls. Great cuppa. Yummy butternut squash soup. Oh and the cakes…a must! Recommend the passion cake, chocolate cake and Victoria sponge cake…so light and tasty. The ladies here are super friendly too and full of helpful knowledge. Toilets are super clean. On a wet and blustery day, a large group of bikers, me included, stopped off at Uig Cafe, during our rally ride-out. The staff in the cafe coped admirably with our descent on them, serving us hot drinks and food timeously whilst still tending to their other customers. Everything was delicious, thank you. June 2018. A great community café run by volunteers. Popular with locals and tourists. Good tea and great coffee.
