While preparing to enjoy a fantastic day out chose to investigate the offerings available at White Cottage Tea Room and was delighted by our findings. The quaint little cottage is snuggled away among neighbouring cottages and providing incredible views towards the water and Inverness. Inside was tidy, clean, bright and far more spacious than I expected from the outside. The staff were extremely friendly, patient, efficient and ready to make sure our needs were met. They were quick to clean up after customers left and toilet facilities were also in a clean and tidy condition, something that even the best resturants can fall short on. While we were a little too late to try breakfast - we will definately be back to try it out though for sure! we tried out a few different items from the menu. I had the Tuna Mayo Baked Potato, it came with tuna mayo, salad and lovely beetroot coleslaw that I'd never tried before but would certainly look to try out again and possibly look for in the shops if I can find it. My cousin had the Avacado Toast which looked stunning, the eggs on top of the salad looked perfectly. My Aunt tried Chicken Goujous that came with chips and chilli sauce and my two little cousins had the sausages, chips and beans from the kid menu; they're sausages looked so juice and I'm hoping they're the sausages used for the breakfast. But what really impressed us all about the meals was the portion sizes; especially the adults. The kids menu meals were probably the perfect size for them with room left for dessert if needed. Both would have wolfed them down if one wasn't having a 'moment' but ate more than half. While our portions, I'm sure I had a whole tin of tuna in my meal and my aunt had so many chicken pieces she had to leave a couple. It was very worth the money and experience. Oh and that dessert counter! We were planning on coming to get some on the way back from our out but we were all a little too exhausted and the kids had stuffed themselves full of candyfloss and popcorn so that will also be added to the list when we return for breakfast. They looked mouthwatering!!! The plum tart, the chocolate cake, the lemon slice so much choice!

If you are ever in the area I really recommend visiting! They even do takeout for those days that are a little nicer and maybe you want to...

We stayed for six nights. It was a great experience that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. The entire property is spotlessly clean. It’s very homey and welcoming. ||My husband and I stayed at the B&B, in the cabin at the back of the property. The cabin is great for couples. Not only did we have our own space but the views from the cabin are phenomenal. The cabin is elevated so there’s a 360 view. The cabin is nestled in terrace gardens. It was very special.||Andrea is the innkeeper and the server, in the restaurant. She is one of the kindest, nicest people you will ever meet. She did our laundry for ten pounds a bag. It was a life saver.||We ate breakfast there for six days in a row and never tired of it. The food was always fresh, of the highest quality and impeccably prepared. Stuart is the chef. Stuart cooks Scottish classics perfectly. We also ate dinner there twice. My husband was a line cook in college at a seafood restaurant. My husband is quite picky about seafood. My husband raved about the mussels. The prices are also quite reasonable. If you can take the quick drive to North Kessock from Inverness, it’s well...

We stayed overnight at the B&B, the rooms are tidy and clean, around 6 when the tea room closes they bring up the leftover cake. In the morning you can pick a homemade breakfast from their menu, if you don't like an ingredient they offer to add something else like fruit. The wifi came with the room but kept dropping every so often Overall worth to stay, close to the city and a very nice view out of the window. The owners are always smiling and they want to offer you the best experience possible.

Had a 2-night stay here during our road trip through Scotland. Would definitely recommend! The B&B itself is located very close to the centre of Inverness (just across the bridge) and therefore it's very central, yet not noisy at all. The host Andrea was very welcoming and kind. Rooms were tidy and spacious for 2 people. The breakfast was amazing, highly recommend taking the pancakes. Perfect for a day on the road. Thanks!

What a find. We were looking for somewhere to break a long journey and didn't do much more research than look for cafes in that area. Delighted to have stumbled across this absolute gem of a cafe cum restaurant, in the most peaceful and beautiful setting. Didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms, but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Seats outside too, to enjoy the views. Highly recommended.
