Kentagon — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

Excited to return to Brands Hatch and determined to support the Kentagon after the long closure. While queuing for breakfast, saw a member of staff with no mask or gloves blow his nose in the same manky tissue before, during and after touching cups and the coffee machine. Then told we could only order certain breakfast items at this counter, so had to queue again at another one, only to be told we had to go back to the original counter. Only wanted a sausage and egg roll, certainly no hot drink after witnessing the complete lack of hygiene. A real shame as Kentagon used to have friendly staff who seemed to care...

Came to Brands Hatch for the W Series Championship Final and had the Pitstop Breakfast here and we were pleasantly surprised with not only the pricing which we expected to be higher for the racetrack venue as they tend to be, but also the smooth organisation of the canteen style restaurant. All the marshalls all eat here and it does add to the atmosphere of the day to be eating in amongst all the orange overalls! We found the outside concessions more pricey (and there's nowhere to sit to get out of the wind) so we went back for lunch and they put an a decent range of choice and were again very quick at serving...

Fish ,chips ,peas and onion rings served today , below scale - together with service .

Think must to been and at bottom of freezer for a while - possibly from James Hunt times .

2 Older ladies both equally bad - one at the tilt forgot how to smile , one serving food emotional issues against younger staff and selectional towards customers .

Breakfast average but can’t complain - but again service .

Should be one star - but it’s 2 as finally been served...
