Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Sevenoaks

We were staying in a local hotel and ordered pizza to the hotel. Our order arrived after 1 hour and it was barely warm. I called the restaurant and was offered a replacement which, and I quote "Would be 42 minutes" or I can have a full refund if I return the food without it being touched at all, not even one bite. Im unsure how you can tell if food is cold just by touch alone as it could be just warm enough to eat, but I refused the new delivery as we had waited an hour already. The manager kept repeating himself saying not even one bite from the food had to be taken for a refund. I said I would contact head office as he seemed very unhelpful and was not able to offer a reasonable solution, even a refund of £5 would of been some reconciliation for having cold food. TERRIBLE!! I BELIEVE ON ONE OCCASION I MAY HAVE CONTRACTED HEPATITIS FROM THIS OUTLET however aside from that I ordered online, gave 10-15mins, went to collect then asked to wait a further ten mins. Following on from this I subsequently discovered that, despite ordering double cheese on one pizza the pizza in question had almost NO cheese on it. In addition to this, the ENTIRE edge of the pizza was COMPLETELY burned and black. The pizza was DISGUSTING!!

I subsequently contacted Papa Johns complaints and the on-line form stated they’d be in touch in a day or so ended up hearing nothing.

Next time, it’s a trip a few doors down to Dominos!! Won’t go there again, I wouldn’t advise you to either, particularly if you like...

Waiting over an hour for the pizza...called after 30mins and was told it was out for delivery so would be there in 5mins ...called 15 mins later and was told it would be 5-10 mins...called 15mins later and was told it would be 5-10mins...its important in the service business to manage customer expectations ....
