Where do I start with Dukes? The staff are some of the nicest, kindest staff I've ever met. The atmosphere in the cafe is always positive and happy, dogs are allowed inside & out of the cafe, there's music but at a reasonable volume so you can still chat and hear each other, and the staff. The coffee machine is quite quiet too which is a lifesaver when being served as sometimes it's very difficult to be served when all you can hear is the coffee machine. I have adhd so I am very sensitive to sounds and cope very well in the cafe.

Food is delicious, well priced & good portion sizes. They cater to vegetarian, gluten & have a variety of foods to try on the menu & the specials board. The variety of cakes is to die for and the coffee is good coffee.

I think Dukes could do a loyalty coffee card as they have so many regulars, we would fill ours up in no time at all 🤣

Dukes are dog friendly and make such a fuss of all the doggos who come in. There's water, treats, puppachinos & ice cream available for doggos.

Well done Dukes on making a fantastic cafe in our park. Your team are fantastic and I absolutely love coming in to...

I arrived at around 12:30 on a rainy Monday. Parking was free and plentiful.

The cafe was fairly busy with a mix of dog walkers, walkers and parents with small children.

From a fairly short menu I picked their signature Dukes burger, which with fries and salad came to a relatively expensive £14, as well as a cup of excellent tea.

The burger was great! It fully justified the price with cheese, pickles and crispy onions in a high quality brioche bun. If you examine the photos it is clearly thick and missing the caramalised edges of a smash burger, but excellent all the same. The fries were clearly bought in, but we're well cooked and hot. Heinz ketchup and mayo and sardines vinegar continued the quality theme.

They don't make their cakes on site, using two local suppliers, but when the cakes are this good, I really don't mind. I had a lemon meringue cronut which was a revelation. The sweet chewy meringue contrasting perfectly with the crispy cronut and tart lemon curd. The coffee was...

We have been for a lovely Sunday lunch today. The beef brisket was absolutely banging! It just fell apart! Whilst we were eating the table next to us were eating their own food and drinks that they had brought with them. The lady in the cafe politely told them that they couldn’t eat their own food in the cafe but informed them that there were plenty of other spots to eat a picnic. When coming on here to leave a review I noticed the review that had been left and felt the need to comment. I am sure if one person did have sensory issues, the cafe lady wouldn’t have minded them eating their own food but this family ALL had packed lunch!

I am all for fairness and this review...

I have had an amazing experience at Dukes in the Park cafe, every time we visit Norfolk Heritage Park. The ambiance is truly enchanting, creating a serene atmosphere for a delightful meal. The staff's friendliness is commendable and adds a warm touch to the dining experience, making me feel truly welcomed. As for the food, it surpassed my expectations great food with amazing taste. This cute cafe is an gem in the midst of nature's beauty.
