Oceana Fish Bar — Restaurant in Sheffield

I always use this fish and chip shop and love the food, I was I here tonight and whilst waiting for my order to be ready I witnessed what must be the manager a woman treating one of her staff in a very unprofessional manner in front of a shop full of customer! She belittled this young man I could feel the embarrassment myself that he was feeling and this was disgusting to witness. I can't get over how someone could speak to someone like that and think it is acceptable. Knowing the young boy was not going to stick up for himself. So I will not be using this chip shop again after what I have witnessed. What I witnessed was bullying. I hope that young boy finds the strength to either stand up for himself or leave and work for an employer that shows him...

Been several times and been happy until today. Had two large fish which smelt like ammonia and pigs. I took the fish back in case they were off. I was told that the fish were haddock and it was suggested I wasn't used to the flavour, I was offered two cod in replacement. As I had lost my appetite due to the smell I declined. The man (fish chef) never once said 'sorry you weren't happy with the fish'. I did not want a refund and wasn't offered one, just wanted to do the right thing. I did not appreciate the rudeness of the pregnant lady, yeah morrisons may charge 60p for a bag, but the rudeness was not necessary and trying to embarrass me, you didn't do that to the old man who said the same, your food is expensive that should cover the costs for the cheap bags half the size and thin than morrisons, if I was to do my shopping with that bag it would struggle to hold half of what a morrisons one would.
