Read moreHello. on the 11/12/2022 at 4:18pm, 6 of us (3 adults 3 children) came into Lincoln Gate KFC in Spalding PE12 6FY. I ordered food from the touch kiosk which cam to £24.98. The kiosk never game me a receipt or took in my QR code that I scanned for points and comp entry that they are currently running - neither all 3 things didn't work. I asked a young lady at the till area if my order went through, she confirmed that it did. 40 MINUITES LATER, we got our order with a lousy excuse of "sorry its late'. That was it. I then asked for the manager to see if something could be done about the terrible service from the start. A gentleman did come to the table and I quote, he said..."I don't know what I can do about it?'. He then asked for my receipt (which I didn't have as the machine didn't give me one) so he went and printed off a copy receipt and said "if you contact head office they can deal with it". I cant believe that this KFC is run so badly. Both myself and partner work in Retail and pride ourselves on giving fantastic CS all the time. The employees at Lincoln Gateway just were not bothered, they all looked like they didn't have a clue on what to do as the orders stacked up. I noticed another lady who waited 40mins was told that they had no Sweetcorn for her and another guy waited 50 minutes and was ageing very quickley. It seemed priority was given to the Drive-in customers and not the ones in side. The whole experience sucked. No doubt I will get a BOT reply from KFC and not a real apology, needless to say that I will be not going to Lincoln Gateway again and I will be also writing more on media platforms about this terrible service that they...
Read moreOh dear oh dear. Ordered on the self order point, a simple 4 piece chicken with chips. Took 20 minutes for that only after I queried with the team member why the board had said it was ready for 15 minutes.
The atmosphere inside though you could have cut through with a knife. 2 different men complaining that they had been sat in a car bay for 30+ minutes with no food or communication. Gobby girl with winged eyeliner behind the counter told one man it was his fault as the team member went outside to take the food and couldn't find the car!!
Another woman next to me who had ordered to a table, also waiting 30+ minutes, but the frustrating thing was that her tray of HOT food had been sat on a tray on a cold service for at least 15 minutes! I pointed out to the lady that maybe she should take what was ready so it wouldn't be cold. She then realised it was her food sitting there and asked for it, again the same gobby girl told her it wasn't ready to which she replied I don't care, I just want what's there before it gets cold. Turns out the item that wasn't ready was a latte, which she had poured over 5 minutes before and was just sitting at the coffee machine. So this poor lady ended up with cold foods and drink. She asked the gobby staff member for some fresh chips and got a load of abuse back from her.
Funny how the delivery drivers never had to wait for their collection, seems like that is what they are concentrating on.
Will be avoiding going again, maybe the manager needs to speak to the dark haired winged eyeliner girl behind the counter and remind her that she cannot be...
