The Unicornz & Riderz Bar & Grill — Restaurant in South Holland

Booked catering for 20 for our Granddaughter's party. Paid in full at the time of booking and agreed a list of what was being supplied. This was written in their diary on the date booked. We were not offered, or sent a copy of this list. We agreed to pick up food as they couldn't deliver because of other bookings that day. On the day of collection there was no popcorn, bacon turnovers, drinks and the chicken nuggets had been substituted with chicken strips and some strange chicken rings. The guy on the counter said the boss hadn't told him about the missing items hence they weren't there. On returning the 'trays' today the boss was sat outside chatting to someone. 'Everything okay' she asked. Not really I answered and then went on to explain. She admitted the missing items were her fault but then went on to become extremely rude about the fact that we had the 'cheek to complain'. Maybe this boss needs to remember that customers pay her wages! As far as she was concerned we were the problem. She eventually gave us a refund of £10 to get rid of us whilst complaining all the time about how petty we were. My advice would be avoid unless you want to be verbally abused if you dear...

Always good to find a dog-friendly cafe. The buildings and theme are a little unusual as you approach, with funny messages dotted around the place. The food took a little longer than some places, but it was all cooked from fresh as ordered, and you could tell that with the crisp, fresh taste, so worth the wait. The price is also good for fresh-cooked. I'd definitely recommend the veggie burger with side salad, skinned fries and onion rings (wish I'd ordered extra onion rings, if that is an option. Best ever). Didn't have time for cake afterwards and we were quite full, so...

Saw this place in Motorcycle News so thought I'd check it out. Greeted by friendly staff, service was quick, there are plenty of seats inside and out, lots of parking and the place is decorated inside with lots of bike memobilia.

Unbelievable value for money. There was a buffet breakfast including hot food, cereal, fruit, toast and pastries. Along with a coffee, my breakfast cost less than £14! I'll definitely be back again and will treat myself to one of the many selections of cakes.
