Railway Inn — Restaurant in South Kesteven

Visited the Railway Inn Ancaster on a Friday evening whilst staying at Woodland Waters caravan park which is an easy walk away. The pub is quite unique in that it combines a traditional olde worlde British pub complete with beer garden, lounge area and bar, serving a range of craft ales, whilst in the adjacent kitchen an amazing Chinese restaurant/ takeaway produces excellent, high quality meals serving the pub and local community. I was in a party of seven and we ordered directly at the kitchen. Food soon started to arrive and just kept coming all well cooked, hot and beautifully presented. At the end of the meal only empty plates and happy people were left. This was one of those rare occasions when we were so pleased with the quality of the food and service received we thought it was necessary to ask to see and thank personally the chef who cooked our meal.
