Okay Indian restaurant for cheap curry! Decent portion sizes, unlikely to return due to other Indian restaurants surpassing the food quality, presentation and dining experience! If was on the area and fancied curry I’d probably just order as takeaway. (Which I think they prioritise) Ordered chicken madras, mushroom rice and garlic naan bread (or nan bread as the restaurant call it) all okay but missing something special, tasty but not delicious!

Just returned home after our first taste of the Masala Garden! We are a family of 3 (2 adults 1 toddler) the service was excellent, friendly, attentive waiters and waitresses (without being too in your face). Fantastic cool air conditioned restaurant, tastefully decorated throughout. The food was very well presented and the tastes were incredible. Loved it all and will definitely return for take away and sit down meals.

Enjoyed a good meal at sensible prices. Food all cooked well and very tasty. Service was excellent by the young staff. Nice dining area all very clean. Highly recommend.

Went to Masala Garden on 5th June 2024. Worse experience I have experienced! Booked a table for 13 people for banquet night for 6:30pm, arrived there and there only two waitress serving food and drinks as well as taken orders, we ordered our starters and they came out quickly. Our main course on the other hand was very slow and when it arrived some of it was lukewarm and majority of it was cold. When speaking to the chef/ owner about the food he was rude, we explained that the food was cold which he then decides to pick a plate up and put is hand over the food, just skimming the food! Customer service was awful, when handing out the food she was very slow and didn’t know what dish was what, drinks came out really slow. As it wasn’t that busy when the waitress gave us our main course she didn’t give us any clean so we had to go and grab them ourselves. Attitude of our server was actually disgusting, when complaining about the food she didn’t offer to get the food made again or get it heated up, she just walked away and sighed with no apologies at all. We must of waited 2 hours for our food to come for it to be cold/ lukewarm! I read positive reviews about this place before arriving but unfortunately today has not been that positive at all! Would not recommend going...

This stylishly revamped pub now revived as an Indian restaurant and has a good reputation in the area though that isn't hard as E Anglia is an utter desert for decent Indian food.

Decor is modern and stylish without being glitzy, it looks bright and fresh. Usual menu with some unusual dishes not seen before and prices quite reasonable.

A chicken dish with mango was predictably sweet - Korma with a slice of mango on it I reckon. My main was very odd, a Meat Palok which though described as medium spiced with spinach was as completely mild and as sweet as a cup of tea with three sugars - utterly bizarre. My companion remarked that you could have used a spoonful of it as a relish. Naans, rice and veg dishes were good.

The staff don't communicate with each other so you get bothered by each successive waiter asking the same question again and again.

What really wasn't good was the charge for pickles (really??? how do they get away with that???) so we turned away the pickle tray... The waiter who presented the bill was the same one who'd taken the pickles away, and there was the charge for pickles...It didn't look at all accidental there was stuff-all in the way of an honest sounding...

We had a meal here on the 1/6/22 & it's the worst curry we've ever had. We waited over an hour for the food (& they weren't even that busy) when it arrived it was cold & when we told the waiter he stuck his finger in our food to test it & took it away, they then nuked it in the microwave & brought the same food back even though the waiter had had his finger in it. It was still only luke warm & the microwave had overcooked it. We complained to the manager & he said what else am I supposed to do to with it to heat it up, to which we suggested cooking the food fresh again, but he refused so we said we were leaving as were still hungry. We were then presented with the bill in full & asked to have cost of the food we hadn't eaten removed but he refused to adjust & said if you don't like the food then don't cone back. Don't waste your money, the food & service were awful & left a lot...
