Visited wherry whilst boating around the broads, was a lovely pub located in a quiet village, a perfect destination for a smaller boat! Me and the mrs had a Sunday roast, lovely tender meat and a great variety of veg plus more, beautiful it was! And as a bonus, the gravy was nice and thick, even better! Lovely peaceful outdoor seating and the owner treated us brilliantly, they were very busy but managed to squeeze us in so we had a drink or 3 in the lovely beer garden! Thank you very much!

We love discovering new pubs. We’ve been to other pubs in this area but on Boxing Day wanted to find somewhere new. Almost didn’t go in because it looked really full in the car park but tried anyway and so glad we did. Found some seats and could have stayed for hours. Really cosy, lovely atmosphere. Love the decor. Exactly what we want from a pub.

Only stopped in for a pint of shandy. The landlady was very pleasant. Plenty of outside seating. It looks like the pub lights up well at night. Would love to go back. The outdoor picnic benches needed a bit of a clean down. But the best entertainment had to be the squirrel dropping conkers on us. #hard-hat-required. 🤣

Group of walkers stopped off 2:30 Sunday afternoon; realised we’d have to sit outside due to space. Booked food in pairs agreeing it would come as ready and not be held back for a simultaneous group delivery, and warned it "might take a while”. After an hour asked how many orders ahead of ours; told it was being done, 10 to 15 mins. Food arrived after 1.5hrs with an apology and told they were busier than expected. Kept saying “with respect….”, which I challenged only to be told the waiter knew the expression meant “kiss my ass”. I suggested the waitress in future forewarned of the actual expected delay, but was told they could not because we were not booked. Sounded strange, was told “we are only a small country pub” – true but completely irrelevant. Turns out that booked people keep going to the top of the kitchen priority and walk-ins kept getting put back. Really not too difficult to tell people this as they order food so they can make an informed decision. The food however, when it did arrive was rather nice, but the experience was dreadful and would not give them my trade again because of lack of staff training in communication...

I had ham, egg and chips the ham was appalling totally dried up, both my husband and son had the carvery the beef looked also completely dried up so they both went for the ham and pork their ham was also hard and fatty, the meat should be covered for later eaters as the heat lamps are drying the meat out when left on the hot plate, the plates are too small as you have to pile everything on top of each other I know you do this to prevent over indulgent customers but when a customer asks for 2 plates they should be given them or one of your triangle plates so you can eat properly, I do know you can go back for a second helping of vegetables but customers don't want to keep jumping up and down during a meal, as regular customers and local I hope you listen to these comments, the staff are some of the best, always friendly and welcoming as is...

We recently visited three rivers campsite and was looking for a local pub for a meal and a pint and we stumbled across this little gem. We had breakfast on the first day which was fresh with lovely produce and reasonably priced. Along with this the owners and staff were infectious. We returned each day for meals and a few beers and were basically kept fed and watered on our camping trip. We was late back on evening and the staff kept the kitchen open for us so we could have a warm meal. We had a lovely holiday made so much better by the atmosphere and hospitality of the folks in this village pub. Many thanks you’re amazing love the three late...
