This is a friendly and welcoming little pub.

Small, but it has a pub cat. Surely that’s all you need to know. A pub cat. He’s very accommodating, if not friendly. Proper chonky fluffy lad.

Otherwise, a couple of gaming machines and a pool table. Gaming machine has Slots of Luck: Rainbow Gold, which is always a bonus. Pool table is a pool table. Also darts.

The beer was Madri; Spain by way of Tadcaster. An average lager. The crisps were roasted Ox.

Of course I loved it, I don't go out often but when I do I go here for the chatter and laughs because I know a few people who visit. And I'd obviously had a drink or two but it was only cooking lager. Still,...
