Edit in answer to reply The review I left was truthful, not to damage your reputation. You're doing that yourself and if you don't like honest reviews either do not put yourself on that platform or improve so that you don't get bad reviews.
I have added photo of onion bhaji starter. There are 2 not 4. Whether there are 2 in the platter is irrelevant as it's a separate dish. That still dosent alter that I ordered meat samosas and got veg ones. There is also a photo of the platter. There is no prawn which is advertised. The lamb chops were not freshly cooked. I do not have a photo of the Naan but I will give my word that it had dried red chilli flakes in it. Did you check the food before it came out of the kitchen? If not how do you know? You're already wrong about the number of bhajis! I didn't say that you advertised ghee on the naan but come on, 99% of Indian restaurant put it on and it wouldn't have been dry if it did. I know you don't make cobra, I'm not stupid and don't make me out to be, but you keep and clean, (or don't clean) the lines. This is a matter of hygiene not manufacture. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and never had such a bad experience. So you give a discounted rate for Takeway or charge restaurant prices?
Absolutely awful. The place was empty with a very awkward atmosphere. I ordered onion bhaji you got 2 tiny ones which were greasy. Meat samosas, 4 tiny ones that were veg ones, mixed platter which I was persuaded to get as it had prawn tikka. There were no prawns, the lamb chips tasted 5 days old and were cold, chicken tikka which had a really strange taste and what I can only assume was paneer tikka which was actually solid and impossible to bite into nevermind eat. And I got a garlic and chilli Naan which was just dried chilli flakes rolled in to dough with lazy garlic, no ghee and drier than the Sahara! I got a pint of cobra which had the aroma of a Mumbai sewer. All for the princely sum of £39.16. Please do not waste your hard earned cash...
Read moreWent there in August, making a booking before hand. The owner, Mr Rana, was very courteous, polite, and was taking interest in his guests on individual tables. He was interacting with every-one of the guests and making sure that they were happy. Its this kind of personal touch which makes a restaurant stand out of the crowd. The restaurant itself was quite big and had excellent interiors and beautiful decor, and plenty of free parking. The food was delightful, the starters were modified to our taste and the curries were excellent. The plates for main course had been decorated with each plate decorated differently. The food could be compared to a Michelin star restaurant without the expensive price tag. Each of the dishes was bursting with genuine Indian flavours and each bite would leave you wanting for more. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were more than sufficient. We would definitely go there when we visit...
Read moreI went to the royal indus today just got home at 10:45pm - my friend booked a table for a party of 19 people for a birthday meal - we were sat at the table for 8pm - took half hour for someone to come get a drinks order - total time in restaurant over 2 hours and only parts of our starters came - some of it cold frozen - the sizzler starters are suppose to be smoking they weren’t even warm - very disappointing experience to say the least - 19 of us left without having our mains - we paid for the drinks, poppodums and the starters that were edible. We tried to pre- order the food but they didn’t take the order. - inexperienced staff and management - will never visit here again Would like to add that there was 1 customer when we got here and they left so it was just our party in the whole place...
