KFC — Restaurant in Southampton

Avoid If Possible Starting with the good stuff: the coffee was great. It was a café latte and one of the best machine-made ones I've had. End of the good stuff.

I didn't want to use the drive-through but I had no choice because the main door was locked. The drive-through was difficult to use because of the tight bends. There was a very long wait, even though it was only the drive-through section that was open (& deliveries).

This meant that my meal was not hot; warm at best. This made the chips difficult to eat, but not quite as bad as eating leftovers later on.

The burger was rather thrown together. It had the elements, yes, but as art styles go, it was impressionist.

The location is rubbish: difficult access, not much parking, confusing instructions re. how to exit. I ended up sitting in the nearby Tesco Express to eat. just because it had spaces (I wouldn't recommend doing this).

I would say "needs to do better", but I prefer to save you the disappointment of going here. I have no doubt that there is a demand for KFC, but, given my experience (and similar poor ratings for other KFC locations nearby), my recommendation would be to find somewhere else that does southern fried chicken and takes pride in pleasing...

Since initial problems with supllier switch few months back they never have full offer. They're always short of something; fizzy drinks, hot drinks, ice cream, corn on the cob, hot wings, drinking water, dips. Good they restored chicken supply. Problems with supplier isn't their only problem. For few months the place become dirty, furniture that has been put in while place was refurbished being repeat off leaving rusty marks on the floor, bins over full, tables and floor need cleaning more often. I would not mention the last one if place has been busy, but it's rather quite recently and staff is seen smoking outside while it should be busy kepping up the place. For few last visits I promise myself, I won't come back here then after couple of weeks I end up giving me them another chance just to be disappointed again. It's long time since I gave them good review, it's time for a bad one. It may change things for better. Two stars only because tables are available all the time and they had chicken on...

1 Star - Terrible Service from Night Shift Staff Indian guy.

I had a really bad experience at Millbrook KFC last night due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the night shift worker. I was picking up two orders, and instead of properly indicating which drink belonged to which order, he just handed them to me and told me to figure it out myself because he was "too busy" making another order.

When I pointed out that it's his responsibility to ensure orders are properly handed over before I take them to customers, he got defensive and outright rude. He even insulted me, saying I was illiterate and didn't know how to read, which is completely unacceptable. Instead of taking responsibility for his mistake, he acted like I was the problem.

This is not the kind of service anyone should have to deal with. Kfc should seriously consider training their staff better or hiring people who actually respect customers and delivery workers. I won't be coming back to this location...
