Nice to have a cafe but oh, if only they’d thought more carefully about being a cafe hut in a park! Unless they get a proper large marquee, somewhere for customers to sit under in inclement weather, they’ll have no customers As nowhere to sit. Coffee is quite nice but variable as they don’t have proper equipment & its not very hot, menu very limited, especially for gluten free folk like me. But the worst thing is if you want cooked food, if there’s more than 3 in the queue, you’ll have to wait 20 minutes for it as they cook to order!! Did they not think of cookingbacon or sausages prior to opening & keeping it hot in a warming oven (like all other cafes) so it’s ready when people arrived, especially in winter for the football crowds & the cricketers. Then when stocks are low, cook some more. They’ve given themselves no room for proper equipment & everyone says they should use the whole hut rather than splitting it in two. They’re so squashed in that tiny space, might that account for their rather unfriendly attitude? We’re in the park at least twice a day, stop for coffee often but they don’t even acknowledge us or our mates, so sadly given up & we’ve all gone back to meeting in Starbucks again, sad as it could have been so good with a...
Read moreWe stumbled across this place upon a Halloween Day out at JungleNI. We didn't even realise Lazy Llama was situated here, even though I'd seen it on Instagram beforehand so it was a pleasant surprise and was buzzing I was able to try it out. It was crazy busy due to so many people attending so in fairness I dont think my review would be the same if it was at a less busy time and will aim to possibly try again at some stage in the future.
The wait time was lengthy, to be expected as we suspected but 35 odd mins with hungry kids was a just a tad too long. Kids Meals were decent and what I expected. The Beef Chuck Loaded Fries - meat was very tasty but the fries were soggy and soaked in Gravy which ruined them in my opinion - and definitely weren't 'double cooked' as advertised, neither were the Salt & Chilli Chips we ordered. A real shame.
The seating area is great, with plenty of space and a playpark just opposite the restaurant is fab.
I probably would give it another try if we're ever up this direction again, in the hope that it would be better - and order a few more items next time. But like I mentioned above, I just feel the quality may have dropped due to the volume they were dealing with on...

Accepted card as well which is always handy. Accommodated for my need for some tap water and even advised on some local water fountains for next time. Definitely going to be returning on my next ride and recommending...
