Let me start off by saying this, their Smoky boys Oreo shake is the best milkshake I have ever had hands down.
I purchased the Smoky Beast Burger and it was absolutely delicious. The chips were also very nice also.
Unfortunately I couldn't eat in as they were fully booked, so I got a takeaway and it was given in a nice bag. The packaging kept the food hot untill I got home which is great.
Yes, it's more expensive than a burger from the 'usual suspects'... But these burgers are on a whole other level in regards to quality and flavour.
Thanks Smoky Boys, my first experience with your food has thoroughly impressed me!
UPDATE (31/08/20): I managed to book a table for the last day of the Eat Out to Help Out offer and yet again the food was fantastic. I, once again, highly recommend the Smoky Beast.. This time I went for the Skin on Fries with added cheese and they were delicious. The ferrero rocher shake was also lovely, but the Oreo is still my favourite. Very kind staff and great service. I will definitely eat here again!
Thanks...
Read moreHands down the worst food I’ve ever eaten. Spent over £100 on steak , ribs, burgers, wings and skin on chips. The steak, tiny, dry, overcooked and more gristle than meat. The burger, tiny, dry, overcooked and absolutely tasteless, the rib was the only edible thing, plenty of meat, but again dry. The wings were supposed to be buffalo sauce, but were dry, flavorless and covered in feathers. The fries arrived soggy and there is no skin on, apart from the tip (think McDonalds fries). The coleslaw was basically just a mouthful of cheap mayonnaise, the peppercorn sauce was just watery pepper. The brisket and chips was again just dry, old meat that tasted exactly the same as the dry, old burger and dry, old gristly steak. This was astonishingly awful and definitely will never be back. Even the Mac and cheese was dry, tasteless and just oily nonsense. The sprite was good though, so Sprite and...
Read moreThis restaurant is bit of a hit & miss when it comes to ordering food. On Saturday we ordered food that was spot on top notch, come Tuesday we ordered the exact same food that was on offer 2 for £10 But the difference is day & night.
It’s a of a quality that the meal was so poor like it was a complete different level of cooking also the quality of Meat was not even the same, this makes me wonder if the owners of this restaurant are using cheap produce products on offer night's,and the quality produce ingredients on the regular business hours that is without offers,as I mean full price meals.
This is just my own opinion,if anyone else has experienced this please feel free to share...
