Can I just mention I’ve been here before and never again they’ve replied back to every bad comment trying to make out that’s not who they are or that the customers are lying they can never take accountability or own their actions which is childish for starters I would also like to say that the staff was rude and awful no thoughts about the customers all about themselves I work in a pub myself and the first thing we do is make our customers comfortable so I don’t even want to hear an excuse we was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming let alone the fact that they discriminate people and no not by a TikTok or social media by my own experience and even so the person who posted the video of you guys were not wrong at all your all disgusting and the place is dirty anyway I suggest all the staff and the boss not only clean up but clean there attitudes and themselves as well wouldn’t recommend Do...

I recently held my sisters funeral wake here. Peter took this on at very short notice but did everything he could for us, including preparing a video presentation that was running on a screen from photos I gave him. We had one whole end of the pub reserved for us with quick and easy access to the bar. The food supplied was perfect (and excellent value) and easily enough for everyone who came and the staff worked flat out and were incredibly kind. Everyone that came commented on what a lovely pub it was and how it was the perfect send off for my sister. I'll never be able to thank Peter and his wonderful girls enough for everything they did for us. This venue was booked after specifically checking, multiple times, that it was wheelchair accessible. On the day of our Grandfather’s funeral, myself and my siblings arrived to find that it is not accessible. There is a large step and no ramp on site. Therefore my brother (who is a wheelchair user) had to leave and didn’t get to attend his grandfathers wake. This was extremely upsetting. Especially when the bar staff just shrugged it off like it wasn’t a big deal without even a half hearted apology!!
