Well well well, I don’t know what to say. The Woolpack is an absolutely fantastic pub in which is a place to bring the family and friends together and enjoy the little moments. The atmosphere of the inside was beautiful. It gave off that old type of cottage/barn affect which really stood out to me and members of my family. As so did the outside. Covered in many colourful flowers and beautiful Willow trees. Also staff were brilliant, helpful and extremely kind all throughout my experience being there. The mains where out of this world. So beautifully presented and every piece was perfect positioned! I had ordered the 8oz Gammon with a Fried egg, Pineapple, Chips, Tomato’s and Garden peas. (I had asked if I could have Onion rings instead of the Tomato’s and Peas and the staff where more then welcome to help) For my Dessert I had ordered the Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice cream. It was delicious but I have one thing i’d like to say about it. Me, personally I would have preferred the top layer of my apple crumble to be crumble mix instead of oats. I fully understand and agree that this is the healthier option, but personally i would have enjoyed it more with the crumble mix. Other then that this is a brilliant place to come with family and friends for a meal and a drink out. 100% recommend āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø - Georgia Millward (13yrs old)

The Woolpack pub is a fantastic spot to enjoy a night out with friends or family. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a great atmosphere that sets the tone for a fun and relaxing evening. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time at the pub. One of the standout features of the Woolpack is the quality of the food. The menu is diverse, with a range of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. The chefs use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create dishes that are bursting with flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burger, a classic fish and chips, or a vegetarian salad, you're sure to find something that hits the spot. In addition to the food, the Woolpack also boasts an impressive selection of drinks. The bar features a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits, including some locally brewed options that are not to be missed. Whether you're in the mood for a pint of ale or a refreshing cocktail, the bar staff are on hand to help you make the perfect choice. Overall, I would highly recommend the Woolpack pub to anyone looking for a great night out. With its friendly staff, great atmosphere, and good quality food, it's the perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Really lovely pub on a village green. We had reserved a table for four with a dog, but when we got there, the table we had been given in the bar was under the dart board right in the corner and next to the toilets. We asked if there was another table, and they moved us into the lounge. Unfortunately, the dog had to go in the car as there were no dogs allowed in that area, which was a downside to the evening. I'm a light-sensitive epileptic and the room they put us in had flashing Christmas lights. I mentioned it, and immediately they changed them to static, which was absolutely brilliant of them. The food was good, two mega mixed grills, a chicken tikka and kebab meat, and flat bread, although my meat and flatbread were a little cold. It was a really cold night, so it might have been that the heat on the meat and bread didn't stay for long as the plate was warm. Overall it was a good evening, just a shame that the table in the bar was a bit rubbish and that our dog couldn't come in. I've put a picture of her with this post to show how upset she was. 🤣 The photo wasn't taken st the time.

I went to the wool pack in Weston on Thursday late afternoon around 5pm as my partner and l fancied a steak and have been here before and know how good they are. We invited some friends to come along with use and they have never been here before, and I couldn’t praise the meals are lovely we all ordered steak as it was a steak night we all started our meals commented how lovely they were. As l carried on eating my meal I became very aware that my steak wasn’t tasting very nice I swallowed one piece and went to cut another piece and I thought this wasn’t right. I gave my partner a taste and he he spat it out straight away. It tasted like chemicals have been poured all over it. I complained and the meal went back and they brought another meal out for me, even though it was another piece of steak there was signs of this chemical which was on it Manager , she took it away and she tried it and said there was a taste and that she would send the piece off to be analysed. after eating the first little bit steak, my tongue was tingling so I know there is something really wrong with it. The management tried to connect to deny everything and we weren’t very happy with the service would offered any put in or extra drinks. Yes they took they didn’t charge me for the two meals which I didn’t eat beside the poetic could’ve been handled differently and asked yet I just don’t know what was on it . I work in a pub and a hotel with a restaurant. I’ve spoken to the chefs here and it’s more unlikely it could be degreaser that is on it. The taste was absolutely awful and I felt sick and had to run to be sick whilst I was still at the pub. The management team there turned round and said the stake and chucked away. One said it had been was going to be analysed, so which is it not happy with the service and made to feel like it was all our fault, ruined the meal for my friends and I very bad service Service. I’m 57 years old and I knew a difference between something that shouldn’t be on a piece of food. I’ve worked in kitchens before I’m just not going to let this go. I’ve eaten something that should not of been there to...
