A Delightful Culinary Experience with Heartwarming Service

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant for our lunch, it became clear we were in for a treat. The meal kicked off with a delightful assortment of Prosecco, olives, and bread, setting a high standard for what was to come. Each dish that followed was a masterpiece in its own right – from the perfectly cooked salmon and seabass adorned with fennel and a hint of Sambucca, to the rich and comforting layers of lasagna, and the Pasta Frutti di Mare that brought the essence of the sea to our table.

Not to be overlooked, the sides were a revelation. The cheesy garlic bread was not just huge but packed with flavor, easily the best we've had, while the truffle fries added a luxurious touch to the meal. The desserts were varied, ensuring there was a sweet finish for every palate, and the coffee was excellent, a perfect end to a wonderful dining experience.

The service deserves special mention. It was friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between being there when needed and allowing us to enjoy our meal uninterrupted. A delightful surprise came at the end when we asked for a doggy bag for the leftover garlic bread. Not only were our leftovers carefully packed, but an entire garlic bread was added as a generous gesture, a thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated by my brother-in-law.

In every aspect, our meal at this restaurant was a joyous occasion. The food was not just delicious but crafted with care, and the service was impeccable, making us feel truly welcome and looked after. It’s rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes of culinary excellence, warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches that make a dining experience memorable. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, already looking forward to our next visit.

Quite new. Authentic Italian food. Friendly service. I tried the wonderful seabass with fennel and sambuca and the delightful homemade arrancini. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes. Oh, the coffee is excellent, too! I asked for a macchiato - I couldn't see it on the menu - they were very accommodating, and it was...

I recently marked this all as 5star and couldn't wait for my second visit. What a disappointing service we receive. We booked a table for 6 people' arriving 15 mins early and could not get parking that we actually thought we were going to have to leave. Eventually parked across the road (not ideal). When we arrived, our table wasn't ready. We didn't mind waiting. All of a sudden, they announced we could sit at a table for 4 and out 2 extra sears at the end. This was disgraceful ' this would mean I person pushed against a wall and the other blocking people from getting out of their seats and been pushed up against their table.

We said we would have a drink at that table but would not be eating our food. We ordered drinks and an appreizer ready for when we moved tables, so we weren't waiting too long' only for them to deliver this to our drinks table. They delivered all drinks except one and we had to ask for this only for the girl to day she had forgotten.

Our friend got very upset as this was a special occasion as we hadn't seen each other in a very long time.

Eventually, they got moved after our insitance and had our mains'

The food was amazing

But unfortunately, we received an apology, which was more because the poor girl felt embarrassed and didn't know what to say or do.. no management came out to apologise to help ease the tension that was building.

Found out our table was given away to someone who just walked in. They should have been made to wait to see if we turned up because clearly they would not have eaten in 15 mins.

Extremely...

Two of us, 6pm on a Tuesday evening. First impression, very posh. Entrance from the car park is locked so you have to walk all the way round the front right next to a 60mph country lane and the doorway is far from impressive. The young girl which could possibly be native italian was very shy and dampens the experience. There was only two table in when we arrived and still took 10 minutes for her to ask if we wanted a drink - £6 for a peroni!! I asked if they had appletizer she simply said No, i waited for the usual "but what we do have is...." but that never came she just stared at me so I grabbed a menu to look at what else they had. The starters were fantastic we had the calamari and brushcetta although it the first time ive has brushcetta without a little sprinkling of cheese on it so that was disappointing but still lovely. I had the classic spag bol and it was not great, it was nice more than edible however lacked any sort of flavour, a dolmio jar would have done better. There was just mince and spaghetti not onions, mushrooms or peppers not salt or herbs no flavour really except the parmasan she sprinkled on. Good portion sizes though. Desert was beautiful but far to small for the price. Great little place but the prices just arent worth it and a smile with the service and a bit more willing to help the dining experience wouldn't go a miss but I will be going back perhaps on a weekend evening instead and see if its any...

It’s lost it’s 4 star ⭐️ rating as people could park so ridiculous on the car park. If there isn’t a space on car park ,park somewhere else. Then people parked on the pavement right outside the car park entrance and it was so dangerous to pull out of! We nearly had a crash 😡 Food was good , staff were lovely, just watch the two little steps just as you go in to the place . We saw several people not realising they were there and tripped over . . Atmosphere ok . Ladies toilet just one catering for disabled and changing room for babies. When we were completing our food and people arrived for there meals and there was no where for them to go . Just watch us eat and drink . Menu ok a few things on there . They do cocktails. Bottle of wine was £24 . I wouldn’t go on a Saturday and would get a taxi next time . It hasn’t been open for long and I’m sure things will improve. Yes I would go back maybe as a treat in the week. Price person £40 average

Attentive staff from the moment we entered the door, suave décor, a wood fire and classy atmosphere. Opened with the Roast Octopus which had a deep savoury flavour from the grill, perfectly chewy exterior and a tender inside, bed of peppery oregano and accompanying lemon cutting through and enhancing the entire experience. Unbeatable as a starter. A main of Lasagne, whilst unlikely to blow you away, it is a staple dish done very well by the restaurant. Cheese and Béchamel not overwhelming the other flavours, fries were a side order which rounded the meal out. Classic Tiramisu, the creamy layer had an ideal consistency, light sponge fingers, the cocoa powdering offering a gentle sweetness. I enjoyed each spoonful with the amaretto coming through after the initial sweetness. La Villa Verde was a standout for me, certainly worth going out of your way for.

Discovered the place by chance . Mentioned it to a friend who told me that he had heard some good things about it . So I booked a table for four . Service was attentive, staff very good and the food looked authentic. They don't use cream in the carbonara, which to me is always a good sign ! We had a good evening , I liked the atmosphere of the place as well . If we take away the drinks, we paid around £32 for a 3 course meal which I find pretty decent . I would not hesitate to go back, there are a few other things on the menu I'd like to try
