This store has been on the same site for many years ,Its been a long lime since my last visit , I went looking for a new Gortex jacket , I was disappointed with the selection of jackets on offer as they all seemed to be aimed at the bottom end or mid range market. However there is a massive stock of outdoor equipment and clothing . We picked up some other bits and pieces and the staff were very helpful leading us to the stock because the store has an unusual layout . There is parking out side but its pay and display . We drove to the store and ended up going via some of the back streets , It is shocking to see how run down and dilapidated this area has become ,I didn't feel comfortable leaving our...

In my walk book it said "Head uphill, signed Wetton Mill and Butterton; and bend left, striding past the community hall to the junction ..." DON'T! Go into the dog [very] friendly community hall (Wetton Village Hall and Tea Rooms) and have tea, coffee, cakes etc. It was mid-morning when we arrived, so we had bacon and egg rolls and cups of coffee ... and bought cakes too to eat later on our walk. One thing only to be aware of: Wetton's a bit isolated so the Tea Room...

What a little gem!! This little place is great value for money for home cooked meals and cake. Just what we fancied; all day breakfast, bacon and egg sandwich and a hearty bowl of homemade soup, with plenty of tea to go with it. Great selection of yummy cakes too. Mismatched china, and knitted blankets made a cosy atmosphere. We were made very welcome by warm and friendly staff and so was our dog. We'll definitely be back 🙂🙂

An absolutely beautiful place. The food is delicious and generous portions. The cakes, which we took away with us, were also amazing. The tea cups and saucers were beautiful. The staff were friendly and not pushy at all. Whilst we didn't have a dog, we saw they had dog beds and biscuits for you to use if you did bring one with you. Such a lovely touch! Would highly recommend a stop if you're nearby.
