Greggs — Restaurant in Stockport

AVOID!!!! Abysmal is an understatement. Spent 5-10 minutes just sat in the drive thru before someone finally answered the speaker, very uninterested attitude and didn't even know what they did or didn't have in, told us bites were out of stock, then found some, then forgot them at the end anyway, also showing items on the digital menu that are no longer even sold such as the Katsu bake.. eventually got to the window only to be handed 2 bottles of coke and one clearly had been dropped as it was all fizzed up.. I asked if this was the case and just sheepishly got told 'yes' to which I asked for it to be replaced.. why give me that bottle and try and pass it off? We were then handed our order piece by piece with no bag, no napkins and no receipt. Had to wait another 5-10 minutes for our chicken and fish wraps holding up the entire queue and when finally handed them not even an apology for the wait, and it looked like they were all just having a jolly inside.. when we got to our food they had been mislabelled with the chicken wrap in the fish container and vice versa... absolutely APPALLING from an allergy stand point and could do some serious harm. Greggs need to sort this place out as it is not only poor on the service front but an actual...

Watched this Greggs being built as I live just round the corner and love their food. Been to this location three times since its opening and every visit has been shocking. From long waiting queues at both the drive-thru and kiosk to rubbish on all unattended tables to disgusting toilets to poor food availability. This is a busy store (weather it's due to being something new in the area or because it's Greggs) so surely they should be prepared for high demand. Today's third and last visit to this store started with being in the drive-thru for 3 minutes without moving. Luckily I was 5th in the que to the intercom and the two cars behind me had had enough and left. I reversed, parked up and went inside. Had I had more time, I would have gone elsewhere. No Pepperoni Pizza, no Chicken Bakes and no Sausage Rolls and with a 11 minute for the Pizza I opted to change my order to Cheese Pizza, Steak Bake and Festive Bake. To say they were cool is an understatement.

Fast food place I DONT THINK SO !!! More like long wait for big disappointment.

Appalling service. Went to get into the drive thru and was told by some lad he was closing it cause the queue was too long?! He wouldn’t let me just wait at the end of the queue for it to open again so had to park up. More cars came in which he didn’t say anything to, so I asked him if he was going to otherwise they’re just going to get in the queue when I was next and had been waiting longest, so he said something then. You would have expected him to say the drive thru was back open and I should have been the first to go to it but not, after sitting waiting for 10 minutes he just disappeared and cars that had literally just drove into the car park went straight to the front of the queue. It was rammed inside hence why I didn’t just go in. That lad did a shocking job, if you’re going to stop cars queueing for the drive thru, at least have a fair system so that when you do open it back up the people who have been waiting the longest go in it first....
