We booked this nearly 3 mnths ago for my daughters birthday we live in Leeds an hours drive away to add and couldn't get in till today as was all booked up to then get a phone call last night at around 930 to say they arnt serving hot food as its eid which I'm sure they would of known about months ago to which the man said I could cancel even though my daughter had been looking forward to this for ages clearly wasn't an option Well here goes a full on farse from start to finish On arrival we parked in the car park on double yellows to be told we all need to move cars although we couldn't park in the car park as it was rammed but was told we could be ticketed if we didn't park in the car park was no help what so ever to anyone the place is clearly too big for the amount of parking spaces available to people visiting Had to move car right down street delaying us by around half hour now were running late Then on arrival we entered the warehouse as thats all can describe it as To be greeted by staff member asking for our name gave her my name to then be told your half hour late and we don't reserve if your that late your tables been given away said you joking we have travelled an hour and and it's taken half hour to find somewhere to even park she said sorry and walked away on entering it was packed out they had had a kids beauty course running 9 till 3 with around 30 to 60 kids we wernt told over this neither so clearly wouldn't of even been able to get us in for 230 as I had booked the time slot for then She then came back over and said you will need to wait 10 mins we will get a table when somebody leaves so said aw great thank you we went to have look around and eventually were seated right where they still had all the beauty course going on so was very uncomfortable we went back and forth looking at all the products for sale while we waited on our 4 puddings and 2 milkshakes at a nearly ÂŁ70 this place is by far not on a budget you need a bank loan The puddings arrived a lot smaller than insta pics and a big dissapointment for the price but the only positive was the presentation was lovely defo insta ready đ¸ We ate our puddings and then had to wait nearly another half hour for 2 milkshakes after speaking to 2 members of staff and still no shakes 1 went to go see where they was and never came back and the other then went and eventually returned another 15mins later with them poor service we were given review cards of how well we had liked our day and just laughed at it was pointless filling it in as it was dry wipe to be wiped off and reused anyway so didn't understand that plus had to put your car reg arrival time and leaving time didn't really make sense neither After we had eventually eaten it did then tend to become quieter lots people left We purchased few items as there was hardly any stock left everything was sold out lots of items unavailable and was just so unorganised we did take some pictures and we then left glad to say wouldn't ever come back I'd put it to people to order online save the wasted journey and go for food elsewhere as really wasn't worth anywhere near ÂŁ70 The place is too unorganised certainly doesn't flow well as staff and customers were all over the place it's very very over rated and very very over priced yes its all glam and pink but that's as far as it went seemed like the place was half finished booths we're taped off and unless you knew about the products staff wernt really engaging with how to use the stuff there to buy Glad plouise has made her millions now that she's too busy to see what's actually going on behind the scenes as it's a full on shambles never again as I said previous just wasn't worth it...

Absolutely ridiculous service. Firstly, we ordered our brunch with some sides. One side came first for no apparent reason we then waited about 20 minutes for the rest of the food and sides to come. Despite the sides being the same (fries).. I then went to order drinks and went up to the counter and she said she'll come to table to take the order and payment, waited 15 minutes and asked about the order I wanted to make, apparently she 'forgot'.. ERMM OKAYY! Food was nice though.
Then.. we ordered dessert with English tea. Ordered a single tea along with a double pot. The single tea came first and we waited 10 15 minutes and then asked about the rest of the order, she went to chase up and then confirmed its coming. They then bought another single tea (which we didn't order), so we asked about the double pot. She said that's not on the order despite the woman double checking the order on her ipad before payment.. ERMM OKAY. .. also we had to keep asking for milk/sugar. One by one. Ridiculous. It's tea, give the whole package. Anyway. I asked for the pot and we finally got it.. and what do we get?! A teapot with just hot water. So I then had to ask for a flipping teabag. Whaattt the heckkk!!
Imagine ordering tea at a restaurant and paying for it, and then they bring it out in a teapot and you open the lid only to notice plain hot water. What a joke!
And then finally after 20 minutes we asked about our blimmin desserts and supposedly they were being made fresh. They finally came. May I add they weren't hot hot. They were lukewarm. Anyway.. my raspberry had mould on it. Told the manager, she looked at it, took it back, told me that the chef said its not mould its a seed, I disagreed. She called the chef to speak to me specifically, he came. Started boasting about how he has worked for 20 years private chef etc and they check their produce.. dude i dont care where youve worked or if youve been unemployed. Im not taking your job interview! but anyway I said the raspberries haven't been washed either because they were dryer than eczema then he said they don't wash their ingredients. ALARM BELLS!!!!!!!! And kept saying its a seed not mould. However the seed to a raspberry isnt green, only mould is. Anyway we agreed to disagree and I got a refund on the dessert.
Rubbish service, I wouldn't recommend. Definitely not going here again ever. Rip off, too pricey and the service is rubbish. Their too busy piling on makeup and walking about in their slippers to notice anyone who's been without food for 20 25 minutes. And then they tell you clearly when you arrive that its a 90 minute slot. If its 90 minutes surely you'd want your customers fed and gone?
Also can i just add, it wasn't busy at all so I have no clue why our food was so delayed. All I must say is if you want to treat colour people differently just say it straight!
Everyone else's orders were perfectly fine , people that had booked came ate and went while we were still begging for our food. Might I add, at the time of us being present we were the only coloured people there, so clearly we got treated different.
Actions speak louder than words! I'm entitled to give my review so I hope you take this on board. Work on it, you have...
Read moreHas great potential. Just needs a few tweaks. Arrived after booking online. Told they didn't have any record of our booking, but wasn't a problem, they quickly found us a table. Lovely place for photo ops and little make-up shop on the restaurant floor as well. We had a 2 year old and a six year old with us. As lovely as it is, it's not really suitable for young kids (not necessarily a bad thing!) But just for purpose of sharing info with others who may be thinking of going with younger kids - there are no high chairs and it is all very grown up glassware, plates and cutlery. Really cute bear shaped glasses for drinks but I was petrified the kids were going to drop and smash them. We waited a little bit longer than we'd hope to, before being served, but the ordering itself was straight forward. You pay for your food before it comes. Ours started to come out fairly quickly, but the order hadn't gone through right, so the two kids meals we ordered didn't come out with the adults meals, which made it harder to keep the kids seated, because they were getting hangry and restless. The manager apologized for the mix up and kindly gave us a refund for one of the kids meals. Kids meals seemed nice - £7.95 for chicken goujons, beans and chips, other kids meal was a mini pizza for same price but with no sides. It was pretty big to be fair. We got the garlic pizza bread which was very nice, as was the nacho Mac n cheese. We also got a chicken burger which we were told didn't come with fries, so we ordered a side of fries, but then the burger came with fries so we ended up buying the extra fries for nothing and they went to waste. The chicken burger was nice but a little bit too greasy. The toilet situation is a strange one. You have to wait for a member of staff to fob you into another area of the building, walk through a separate kitchen area through to another corridor where the toilets are. This must be such a faff for the staff, as it is for the customers. The staff were regularly checking if everything was okay. They were quick to clean tables when people left - but unfortunately the cleaning spray they were using to wipe the tables down was so strong, it was all we could smell whilst we were trying to eat our food which really affected how much we could enjoy it to be honest and my daughter thought it was the smell of her pizza and refused to eat it for a few minutes, until the smell went away. Atmosphere was okay music playing which is a tad bit loud, and at times it would randomly stop and start. Also told the password for their wifi wasn't working so we couldn't use it. As I said at the start, it has great potential, it just needs a few things working out and I'm sure it would be a much better experience going with older children or just as a...
