Chippylicious — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Last 3 times we have had the same order and every time burgers have come without any salad on..when we order we say cheese burger and all salad..then they ask if you want sauce we say yes please red...and every time we get home no salad on burger...never said anything the on the other occasion...but for it to happen a 3rd time not acceptable..I phoned down to say I was not happy they say salad was refused....why would salad be refused when we wanted and ask for it...and why did it happen the previous occasions...I said it was unacceptable..only to be told ....its only salad....so that's how bothid they are but it's OK...its our money and its up to us where we spend it..and it won't be at your chippy....this is not how customers should...

Knowing the cafe closes at 2.00 we arrived at 1.15pm having travelled from Newcastle to try these recommended chips. The restaurant was empty all but two which were just finishing off, Just about to sit down when we were told it was too late to sit down but you could order a takeaway . Shame that the food is not consistently good. Four weeks ago I was given a small fish, it was inedible - it must have been standing for sometime under the heater as it was rock hard and extremely chewy (like leather) the 2nd time I went was last week and the fish paper was soaked in oil and once again my mother's fish was hard and chewy. Lovely chips though. Shame this place was renowned for it good fish n chips. In fact, I had recommended it times to friends and...
