This pub is just so lovely! I can’t rate it highly enough. The booking system was easy and efficient. Everyone in our party was able to choose their food separately in advance, online. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming but efficient and helpful. No one tried to rush us but kept popping in to see if we needed anything. The private room was beautiful and decorated so tastefully. Usually booking for 22, you accept that the food may not be awesome, may not arrive altogether, might be a bit cold. NOT HERE. The food was absolutely delicious, arrived together and was hot. We all had different dishes and everyone loved every dish. That is amazing for 22 people to like all 3 courses. I have only ever been to one other restaurant where the service and attention was this good; The Fat Duck. Congratulations on running an awesome pub and our whole family wish you every success - you deserve it! We’ve already booked for next year šŸŽ„

I booked a table well in advance for my elderly mother and myself as we were staying nearby. When we arrived at our allocated time, there was no table ready so we were told to get a drink at the bar, I asked for Shiraz but they didn't have it, they suggested malbec, I agreed. A 250ml glass was ordered. We were shown to our table shortly after, we ordered food and when it arrived we weren't asked if any sauces etc were required. My mum had to go find a waitress to ask for vinegar. Food was ok though. I asked for the bill after a coffee each and really could not believe the cost of the wine! It was ok but definitely not worthy of its price tag! I wasn't warned by the bar staff that it was clearly one of their premium wines. We won't be back, as it was daylight robbery plus manager and 2 chefs were having heated debate in public area in garden which upset my mum when she went to look at river. Photo of bill attached.

The Four Alls is a great place to go for a meal with children. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and they made a big fuss of my son. They spoke to him as a valid and equal customer, and they were very accommodating when he asked for some changes to his order. The seating is comfortable and the decor is nice. There is a large outdoor area, which is perfect for dining al fresco on a warm day. The menu is inclusive, with something to suit everyone. There are plenty of options for children, as well as a range of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. The staff were very helpful with my son's allergies. They were able to recommend a safe meal for him, and they were very accommodating when he asked for some changes to his order. Overall, we had a great experience at The Four Alls. It is a great place to go for a meal with children, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We visited The Four Alls between Christmas and New Year. We have been there a number of times and decided it was worth the 1 hour journey as they have a good selection of vegan options. On this occasion I ordered the Rigatoni Vegano and pointed to it on the menu ā€œAl forno ? ā€œ the waitress asked. ā€œYes. Veganoā€ I replied. I asked if it can be served without cheese as I don’t like vegan cheese. She checked with the kitchen and this was ok. My sister ordered exactly the same. When the meal arrived my sister checked ā€œ is this the vegan dish?ā€ The waitress replied ā€œyes, without cheeseā€. We both happily started eating and immediately realised we were eating chicken. We called the waitress over and advised there was meat in the dish. She replied ā€œyou didn’t specifyā€ we advised we had stated vegan 3 times. She apologised and said she would get the correct dish made for us. I became very distressed and went to the bathroom to be sick. I couldn’t stop crying -I have been vegan for 36 years. For me, this isn’t a fad, but part of my identity. I was too upset to return to the table so I left. I understand that the waitress apologised to my sister again and stated there was a mix up in the kitchen. And yet earlier she said we didn’t specify we wanted the vegan option (Rigatoni Calabrese and Rigatoni Vegano sound very different in my opinion and are listed as two separate dishes). We were also offered free drinks, as if that would have made things ok. This was not simply an incorrect order but a catastrophic error. Thank god this wasn’t an allergy as the consequences could have been life threatening. My sister and dad also decided to leave without eating as they were also very angry and upset. I am really disappointed with the Four Alls which is usually one of our favourite restaurants to visit. I understand mistakes can happen but the waitress did not listen and then lied to cover her mistake. I really hope the outcome of this is that the restaurant doesn’t remove vegan dishes from the menu, as this would be the laziest approach. I instead urge you to train your staff properly and ensure they take responsibility for their actions. I hope one day I’ll feel able to return to this establishment, but for now I remain too traumatised by...

This is place is my local, so I gave it two visits before coming to the conclusion that the service here is absolutely appalling. First visit was a week day with my friend; the place was pretty much empty. A lady was serving behind the bar, charlotte I think. I stood at the bar for a good 3-4 mins (I was the only one) whilst she was making coffees for another table, no acknowledgement. When she finished the coffee she walked straight past me round to the washer machine and proceeded to empty the glass washer, again no acknowledgement. Finally after nearly ten mins she asked what I wanted, I ordered the drinks and asked for a menu. She came to a table with a menu and saw my friend already had one ā€˜oh so you don’t want a menu then?!’ She almost shouted. We informed her we would like two, so we could Both look. Not that hard is it?! The service with this lady went from bad to worse, after we finished our first drinks I went up again and asked for the same Again. She started to pour the wrong drinks, I advised her of this and she argues with me about it?! Her response was ā€˜no! These are what you had last time’ I think I know what I drank but she still continues to argue, so we left. Worst service I’ve had off someone in a very long time. We tried again last weekend, the bar was busy and clearly understaffed. No acknowledgement at the bar again, no apologies for the huge wait for drinks, it’s like your invisible, the food is ok but the service is absolutely appalling, ruins the whole experience. Do yourself a favour and try one of the other local pubs where you will Receive a much nicer and...

We booked a table for 9 plus a highchair in order to celebrate the granddaughter's birthday. I had previously spoken to them as to whether they could accommodate a gluten free diet and was told yes as they had a separate fryer for the chips and everything. Happy days. When we arrived there wasn't any booking recorded so they had to push a couple of tables together but they had no highchair. The menu which they supplied for the allergens only had the dearer items, double checked about the chips and was told in no uncertain terms no .. they only have one fryer. I asked about other items which I had eaten previously at the Jubillee (same chain) only to be told I couldn't have them either. I settled on a chicken salad which they brought out, the meat was dry so I asked for some dressing - same response non available. We asked for macaroni cheese for the toddler , they came back and said non available so chose nuggets but they were served up on a red hot plate - I mean honestly safety first. A third of the way through the chicken salad I discovered what can only be described as a lump of mud, so I pushed it aside and then found that the lettuce leaf underneath was mouldy and had a grub on it - at this point I called the waitress over to show her. She took my food away to the chef and was very apologetic , when she returned she offered me a replacement but I declined and a free drink. There was also a rump steak (well done) ordered but that wasn't supplied with a steak knife and it was rare; half of it was left as was too tough to chew. The staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing...
