My son booked a table for two earlier in the day, we arrived at our booked time of 6pm and the downstairs restaurant already had a number of tables in. We were offered a choice of tables and chose a window one so we could people watch whilst we ate. The waitress was very polite, took our drinks order then came back for our food order. We've eaten here several times over the last few years so knew what we wanted on the menu. I chose a linguine with king prawns, mussels in a white wine and tomatoes which was delicious, a perfect temperature and well presented. My son had the house risotto which he thoroughly enjoyed. There was one waiter accommodating the whole restaurant and it wasn't enough. When I needed assistance (a drink) I was left waiting so long every time I had to get up and go and give him my order again and again. Like with a lot of these little restaurants there's sometimes big aspirations that a team of two cannot handle. They should reduce their menu options or get more staff, anything that will make busy nights run...

You get quality thats worthy of any special occasion at a price point that welcomes regular dinners, lunches or dates. You will not be...
