This place is SO cute and has SO much potential i was shown this pub by my sister Natasha Carter who works there, I loved the look both inside and out proper country village feel, however a play area outside would be lovely to help families feel more at ease and to make other diners who dont have children happier as they'll be more content, after all children can and do get noisy and annoying when they are bored. ||I disliked the fact that the carpark is NOT onsite and it's up a hill adjacent (easily miss if you don't know the area) we had to walk in in the pouring rain! ||The menu is a tad over priced for what it is, £1 or 2 cheaper on each meal and kids meals cheaper would of made my review a more positive one. ||However, staff were all lovely and VERY helpful and accommodating, I asked for chips with my lamb instead of the other potatoes option and they were happy to switch, several other adjustments were happy to be made (I know how annoying it can be). Everything I ate tasted lovely and the sweet potato fries me and my sister shared were BEAUTIFULLY cooked! Overall a nice experience, I will return but maybe without the children as it was so noisy(small inside area made their voices super loud) and it made it too expensive with the kids meals. But I would recommend to give it a go for passers by or...

Stayed with Work for one night.|On arrival pub closed, had to ring 5 times to gain access. |Room had no tv, mold in the shower, no blind in the bathroom. Kettle on floor, Bin was full from previous occupants and had stubbed out cigarettes in which absolutely stank the room out. ||Evening meal allowance of £35 via Billback. Staff knew nothing of it, and food would need to be paid for via cash/credit card. Even though the owners have clearly signed up to website that allows Billback on click travel website.||Indian food only (not a problem) but was like a homemade curry with lots of Patak’s thrown in. |No breakfast available other than carton of orange and a biscuit.||Good luck to the owners going forward, I’m not here to destroy but need massive...

A very disappointing lunch! A starter to share (chicken pate+ onion chutney) - was very tasty, but disappointingly with only one small, skinny piece of toast. Our mains were scampi and chips, and a 'classic' burger and chips. Both dishes were both small portions and VERY poor quality - no obvious scampi inside the bulky batter, and a very small piece of tough, tasteless meat in the burger. Together with a pint and a half of cider and a half of Guinness our total bill was an eye-watering £40.

The bar was very friendly and the pub is attractive to look BUT our food was awful. Luckily it was a lovely walk from, and back to, Wotton. Next time we'll park in North Nibley and try our luck...

We drove up here for a single night’s stay. The area is simply stunning and the beautiful stone built pub is in an ideal small village location just outside Dursley. The rooms are perfect for the price we paid and the scoring is relative to the price. For the ~£85 a night, including a light breakfast, it’s excellent. After dropping of the bags we went downstairs for a pint (Timmy Taylors - joy) and found that the Inn is also a great curry house. Result. Also, great to see lots of locals in the pub on a Weds. Only comment is that the air freshener scent is very strong, especially on a hot hight like we had. Highlybrecommented.

Bit disappointed on arrival told no English breakfast just cereal and they wanted extra £6.we said no thanks. Rooms where very very dusty set my asthma off.. hardly any drinks stocked! Very empty fridges Pool table broke and no one fixed it all weekend. No TV. Scampi was rock hard over cooked. Manager admitted didn't have a clue what he was doing as 1st pub. And then the bar staff asked me for full payment when I'd already paid on arrival.! Very embarrassed for her Just needs decent management. Lovely location

Lovely pub with friendly accommodating staff. Enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch. The beef was quite rare which I like and the gravy was well seasoned I could have eaten it on its own with a hunk of bread super tasty. The accompaning cauliflower cheese 🧀 was wonderful and would be a good meal in itself would have liked more but was very full from the good dinner portion size. The desert was also good 👍
