My mum usually orders from here and has had the odd bad order. She isn’t a fan on the salt and pepper chicken just because it’s usually dry. However we ordered it tonight, and to say we are shocked is an understatement. Not only was the chicken dry and dull, it was rock solid. It was so crunchy that my dog struggled on a piece of it and ended up choking as there was more hard batter than chicken. To describe the appearance of it I would say it was inedible, overcooked or perhaps even frozen. There was minimal chicken in the tub, no peppers or seasonings, just dry, crusty, cold batter. Ordered the munch box last night. Hugely disappointing, the chicken was clearly frozen and then deep fried. The spare ribs came with barely any meat on the bones. The woman who I spoke to on the phone to place the order rang me mid meal asking if I was at a different address, clearly she was going to send more food.
