Greggs — Restaurant in Sunderland

I have used this greggs twice now and both times I have done a click and collect order.

When I arrive the queue is queuing out of the door which is either a positive on how good this greggs is or a negative on how slow the service is.. I will let you decide which one applies.

Both times I have asked if everything is in my order and I have been assured both times it was. On both times when I’ve got to my end destination and got out my order there have been things missing that I have paid for.

The label clearly identifies how much of each item I want but clearly the staff are thick as pig muck and can’t count. Probably because their terribly slow and rushing to shorten the queue.

Absolutely shocking, one time is a mistake but twice is inexcusable. Won’t be coming back here again and I urge whoever is reading this not to waste your time (literally)...

Get breakfast, if they can be bothered to keep breakfast things stocked.

It's a simple premise, if you offer to serve breakfast untill 11AM then you expect to be able to have the choice of all the items upto 11AM.

A few times now I have arrived 40 minutes before breakfast finishes to be told they don't have item lefts, often accompanied by a mildly smug smile and a shrug of the shoulders.

It's just poor management and bad, lazy, customer service. I'm not one for complaints usually but this happens on a regular basis to the point that you surely cannot continue to advertise breakfast to 11AM. The last customer should allways have the same amount of choice as the first. If this is too hard for your staff to grasp then maybe it's time for some retraining...

The staff in the shop were very unpleasant , the shop was busy but that is no excuse to be rude. We moved to the end till to be served and the woman on the till moved off so we were left standing waiting to be served the woman on the till ignored us and served 2 other people finally the other woman came back onto the other till and then tried to serve somebody else then was annoyed that we wanted to be served first she was very abrupt with me and my mother and when I asked for another spoon she was rude to me saying she’d already gave me one.
