It was our first time visiting Seasons Kitchen and we had a charming time. Everyone thought the food was exceptional (the Snicker-bocker-glory.. WOW!) and loved the ambient setting of the restaurant. It felt like outside dining, inside. The only thing knocking one star off the review was that the initial service was slow (45mins to take our food order, but we wasn’t in a rush) - but following that the rest of the service was excellent. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends.

Enjoyed lunch here yesterday (8 March). The day was a beautiful sunny day which lent itself to the atmosphere of a great dining experience. We shared entrees of Thai corn fritters and beef croquettes. We each ordered mains of ploughman's lunch, chicken schnitzel and a chicken ceasar salad. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive and our drinks and food were served in a timely manner. We will be back, next time we're planning to come for breakfast.

My favourite local place by a country mile. The ONE place I can rely on for quality food that is reasonably priced. Their roasts on a Sunday is a steal too! The photos added a combo of all the times I’ve been. Seasons kitchen street food outside in the summer is a HIT! I went here few times on a lunch breach and was fresh, simple, 10/10 The service is second to none. I’ll be recommending this place forevermore!

A shame today was spoiled! Three of us decided on this restaurant to celebrate one of our birthdays. This was my first visit. My friends had only good things to say about their previous experience. The staff were efficient and friendly at first… I wanted to treat us to a bottle of champagne.I asked for a bottle of Verve Cliquot at Ā£80 and was informed they didn’t have it so would I like the house champagne. All three of us were witness to this and I was thrilled as I knew this would be cheaper! A rather attractive waiter showed me the bottle. It could have been any champagne as I wasn’t wearing my glasses, but as I was in such a seemingly upmarket environment, I assumed the house champagne would be good. It tasted fine. We had wonderful food and the waitresses were very friendly and efficient. We asked for the bill, and I requested a separate one for the champagne. To my horror this one bill was for Ā£168. Ā£150 for ā€˜ Heidsieck’ and Ā£18.00 for service! I was horrified! After much debate, and embarrassing conversations with the lovely waitress, finally the ā€˜rather attractive waiter’ came over. He’s the manager. We explained our position. Saying we assumed naturally that the house champagne would be way cheaper than the one originally requested. He argued that he had shown us the bottle, we had accepted it and drunk it. After more embarrassing debate, I now had a high colour and the day was ruined, he agreed to reduce the bill and I said I would not pay the service. I ended up paying Ā£100 for a bottle of ā€˜house champagne’ Believe me the manager no longer appeared attractive. All three of us were witness to this whole scenario! We can only imagine the letter H for house must have been mistaken for Heidseik! It was a very obvious and expensive mistake by the staff and I am reeling as I paid for it! I will be warming my friends! What a sad end to...

One more negative review for this restaurant. We came as a big group of 10 people and decided to give it a try. From the very beginning, the service was extremely unpleasant. Our waitress was very rude towards our group — when someone politely asked if we could order, she almost shouted back that she would first take orders from others and only then from us. We thought, ā€œOkay, maybe she is just having a bad day.ā€ Unfortunately, things got worse.

Not only did she keep insisting on moving us further away from the center of the restaurant, but she also started being unfriendly towards a small child in our group. As everyone understands, a child cannot always sit perfectly still, but instead of showing any patience, she kept making it uncomfortable for both the child and the parents. This went on for nearly an hour, ruining the whole experience.

By the end, we simply felt like leaving. Her aggressive and unprofessional attitude made us wonder why such staff are even kept in a restaurant that could otherwise be a nice place. Honestly, it made our entire group decide never to return and to look for better, more welcoming places.

And regarding her comment, ā€œthis is not a playgroundā€ — would you say the same thing to parents and children on an airplane? If children are not welcome here, then the restaurant should clearly state at the entrance that it is an ā€œanti-children zone.ā€ Very...

Well I’m writing this to warn others. My daughter has a sever nut allergy. On booking we told them, on entering we told them, on ordering we told them, the menu clearly marks which foods are nut free. When she chose the Christmas pudding. I asked the waitress to check. Even though the menu said ok. Thank goodness she did. It contains nuts she advised after checking. I phoned the restaurant at 9am this morning having not slept with thoughts of what if. Also as there was no apology from any one senior at the time. When I explained. The manager said oh I will look into this and get back to you. Well 10.5 hours on. not even a. Call back. So I’m not happy the menu has been amended PLEASE PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL eating with allergies here Very disappointed they clearly don’t care.

I have heard from the restaurant manager. New rules in place now manager will take orders where people have allergies. They will put in place an idea I shared to to put a marker on the table so everyone is aware. They will double check new orders delivered ie Christmas pudding that the ingredients have not changed. Hopefully now customers...
