Terrible pub.... Terrible staff.... management seems to belong at school if I could give it no stars I would.... no food.... landlady goes mental about parking... I don't think they have a live entertainment licence a in fact I know they didn't a few months ago but they still have terrible live acts.... it smells of dog and even though it's been refurbed it's still got the same riff raff going in there... I won't be going in again.... especially since I found a cocaine bag in the toilets last time I was there!! Very chavy and defo not a place for families...

It used to be my favourite pub, before going out into Manchester. If you do find yourself in my situation there's a shop down the road that will serve you.
I understand that management can put age restrictions, but 25 is steep when you have to be 18 to buy alcohol at a shop. All I wanted was a nice night, good thing the shop...
Read moreI used to go in the Cheese a few years back, and I was reluctant to go back in, but I had heard good things since its refurbishment and u was willing to give it a try.
It was warm and welcoming, the decor is fantastic, toilets were clean.
We had a great night watching an artist whom was also very good! I cant remember his full name, only that his surname was Slater. Very good.
