Globe Canteen & Coffee — Restaurant in Tameside

Went with my dad who has problems walking he went to sit down while I went to the counter . I was completely ignored by both members of staff behind the counter who proceeded to serve 3 people that came after me but were clearly regulars . . . One of said people was at a table so I assumed that they might come to the table after sitting at the table and they clearly had no customers being served I asked my dad if he would like to go to the cafe across the road that tbh looked alot cleaner and had a much more welcoming environment . If you havent been going in for years dont bother because you will get funny looks upon walking in from regulars and you will be ignored until they can be arsed . They have the cheek to acknowledge you leaving and say goodbye as your leaving though ....

The worst food I have had in a long time. Me and my family used to always come for breakfast when globe first opened and was allways nice and the owner is lovely but as the prices went higher the quility seems have gone. I orderd a cheese and tomato panini and a caramal latte this was £9.90 I asked if I could please have it in a tray with a little salad I was charged an extra £1.50. On getting home with my food 2 minutes away! wow what an absolute dissapointment a soggy mess of a panini that has not been toasted for long enough and the smallest amount of cheese that's not even melted. No taste not enough filling just tasted of soggy bread, majorly overpriced and staff must not take pride in there job to even give that to a customer. 100 percent will never...

First and last time. I Personally use to have a cafe/takeaway so I know how hard these things are but when you order bacon and cheese toast then you expect to see the cheese not cello tape also had a spam and egg now I understand costing but one slice of spam is abit penny pinching don't forget I know how much these cost and charging what this cafe charges you would expect two slices. As for the staff very warm and welcoming. Message to the managers your tip basket is quite offensive as it says "tips for our girls" they aren't your property it should read "tips for all staff or tips for the girls if you really want to catalogue the sex...
