Heard Great Things about this Pub Visited for the first time Since Lockdown Restirctions Changed on the 12th April Met By Nettie as we arrived,wasn't impressed by first impression and attitude of Excuses about Staff Issues Order Drinks asked for " Blackcurrant in my Guiness, Pretty easy request for a bar person, was told it woukd be served how it was served" Then watched preferention treatement of customers, which I took on the chin as a local resident considering as a party of 3 adults 2 children and a dog the kids drinks orders where missed and no fresh water for the dog in a "dog friendly venue" Second Round of Drinks "Cassie" Served OUTSTANDING Customer Service Chatty and Changed Our Experience, was Disappointed that a Tip Given to Cassie was Part of a Group Tip Jar Used the Mens Toilets, Very Impressed by internal Decor Thought I was In "London" shame about the out of Service Toilet and shambolic "Out of Order Sign" in such a beautiful Venue that has taken the attention to detail in account a shame about the Management Attitude, I myself have over 20 year experience in event management and front faceing customer Service and while apologising to "a manager" I was treated with a dismissing homophobic attitude when I was trying to support a local buisness and give constructive feedback on wot is basic for a buisness owner and in face to face customer service i am very unimpressed and hope the next time I invest in spending Money and Support Local Buisness I don't receive the Same Disgusting Attitude and Service Espacially Paying 12.5% Table Service for someone to have a rude attitude to a new...

Based on my experience - and your falsified response to complaint.

Pad Thai take out - was a pit of tasteless stodge that i could not finish. Gave to foxes. And i felt sorry for the foxes. Warm beer - in the words of the bar maid - our fridges are not very good. Falsified response to my complaint - i did not wait 40 minutes drinking whilst my takeaway sat there as you claim. I was there for 15 minutes, drinking a warm corona, and I left as soon as it was bought to me. Your chef would have no idea who i was to make this statement after 4 days.

My review is based on MY experience, not his, so it is irrelevant how many dishes your chef has cooked. I paid good money for a beer and a takeout - and both were below par. As is your reply to all this. I've travelled Thailand pretty well, and live next to a Thai restaurant. I've never had a pot of stodge like this.

I give permission for google to remove my other review on this which states i should rate it 2 stars.

On the plus side - the dumplings and spring roles were ok....

We have been to The Station many times now, and all I can say is that it is absolutely brilliant in every way.

The staff are the most friendliest and helpful people and the whole vibe of the place is just 10/10.

We have eaten here a few times now and every time the food has been amazing. There is not one bad thing we can say about it. This place is 100% worth a try.

The pad Thai is to die for, along with the selection of starters they have to offer! Everything that is served up is top quality in every single way, unlike most pub food that you get in other places nowadays!

Taking people to new places can sometimes be nerve wracking as you never know how it’s going to turn out food and service wise. We have now brought family and friends to eat at The Station and they rave on about it because of the how great the food and service is!
