Had read so many good reviews about this place and have been meaning to try for ages. I was a bit disappointed as the fried breakfasts really were just ok, well cooked but really over priced for what you get. Staff seemed friendly enough and the place was clean. They could use better quality sausages and the bread as well for the price you pay. Have had much better elsewhere for similar price.

OMG a little gem in the most unlikely place. Think of an up market transport cafe with amazing food and great service, that's what you get here . Had to book to get a table shows there doing something right ๐Ÿ˜‰ . Food was so good I forgot to take a photo ๐Ÿ˜†. I would definitely recommend this place for a stop off , but note , best booking a table first.

Good staff, COVID precautions, and plenty of parking. Breakfast menu has many options but are just variants of the same. Food is cooked well but oddly with identical consistency. Coffee (latte) was an acquired taste. Asked to pay in advance...which was odd. Nice enough but unlikely to return.

Why have I never been brought here before! Lunch today with my brother, the most delicious cottage pie I have had in many years. Beautifully crispy but fluffy potato with a thick rich gravy and 5 different vegetables as well as roast and new potatoes. I forced myself to have the sticky toffee pudding, purely for market research purposes (hmmm fibber), expecting to struggle to eat it. How wrong was I. It was beautifully light with a rich toffee sauce and a very generous portion of cream this will definitely not be a one off visit. The family were all really friendly and the food they serve is obviously made with love. I can't wait to come back. Decent size portions at a very fair price. Shame 5 stars is...

Went today, waitress very pleasant, however.. weirdly she said only one slice of toast per person per order!? Why I asked ... its the 'rules' what rules? The managers, I said why, she didn't know, not her fault. My friend was getting blinded by the sun, low this time of year, asked to lower blind was told 'rather you didn't as made restaurant dark'... there must be 25 other windows..?!.. all that was needed was ' yes sure' and put it up when we left.. Weird strange tw.t, am guessing he made the rules about the toast!. Never again.. breakfast ok, don't understand the good reviews?! I really don't.. very...

Absolutely love this place, been coming on and off for over 30 years, only pity is I live too far away and only get come here on outings to London and the south living near Norwich. Breakfast is second to none, my favourite is Jubilee with Beans and some extras, all perfectly cooked, delicious, high quality ingredients, sautรฉ potatoes are awesome and the star of the show. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely professional, just the right level of attentiveness and friendly. A family run business I hope continues to thrive,...
