Service shocking…. Arrived at 12:00 walked out at 12:25. They have young staff who can’t take orders essential waiting and clearing the tables. Only one woman does the ordering and ironically was manning the till. I was one of four tables upstairs waiting. Another table left before us then I also decided I’d had enough. So effectively 50% of the waiting tables walked out. I was waiting on my dad who was running behind all I wanted was a brew before the three of us had lunch….

There has been negative reviews on this going back 7 months’. Just slap some numbers on the tables and get people to order at the till if you haven't got the staff.

The food on display looked good such a shame as the owners are clearly not...

After being told to sit down, we waited 20 minutes before my partner got up to find someone to take our order, lady told him to sit down and wait for table service. We saw other people having their order taken who arrived after us then a while later a girl comes over to take our order and tells us she won’t take our food order only drinks as the kitchen is backed up. There were loads of empty tables so sounds like the kitchen is poorly run if they can’t handle an order of two standard breakfasts. If they had told us it would be such a long wait in the first place we wouldn’t have bothered waiting the first 30 minutes for nothing. Wouldn’t bother wasting your time here, poorly run and abysmal service, Quex is not too far from there, better off trying there. Also not family friendly...

I've been coming to the Pedaler for a few years now since I discovered the original one at Bridge, and the new venture at Manston is absolutely amazing.

The building and the attention to detail is superb, and the personal touches give it a really special vibe. There's plenty of space both inside and out, and so much thought has been put into the design at all levels.

All the staff - new and old - are such a lovely bunch, and always have a cheery welcome and make time for a chat. The coffee tastes great and the food is excellent, but then that's only to be expected with the team in the kitchen.

If you haven't been I'd so recommend you give it a try.
