It's a nice walk from Tonbridge through the park and past the first lake. Ducks and geese abound and children can buy correct feed at the café and feed the ducks. Only 50p a bag. Toilets are just to the rear of the café itself and a large car park is behind that (£1). Perfect dog walking area. Cycle track 12 to Penshurst passes through too.

Nice little cafe well situated to serve the nature reserve. Friendly staff and a wide range of food and drink to purchase. Prices are fair especially given the captive audience. Queues can get a little long when it’s busy but that’s to be expected from a small cafe.

Been there a couple of times in recent months (over from Crowborough). I can't resist the breakfast baguette đŸ„–đŸ˜ Good stuff 👌

Without doubt THE SLOWEST establishment you will ever visit, every time half an hour wait in short que every time ,it is mind boggling how slow they are. Then when you pay there's another atleast 10 minute wait for them to make it, and to add insult to injury the coffee is weak and watery. Why don't they just get 1 member of staff to just make the drinks?

Seriously this place is in need of proper management 🙄

P.s I will change this review after you sort the serving time out. Buying a coffee should 10 minutes max ,not...

Love their bacon rolls and sausage rolls. Fantastic cafe. Bit disappointed that they were closed on New Year’s Day as usually they are open that day. It’s become a tradition for me & my new years guests to walk there for lunch on New Year’s Day. Perhaps they were on holiday. But would have been nice for there to have been advanced notice. Hopefully will be open...

Quite a long queue but it was at lunchtime on a Sunday, well worth the wait though. Absolutely amazing sausages and bacon, in a very nice and soft baguette, perfectly toasted. The hot chocolate was also incredible! Definitely coming back!

Update: We came back on a Thursday, it was lunch time but it still was a massive queue. Took around 30 mins...
