What a lucky find. Not a Bistro Pub with high end decor but an honest no frills 'Pub'. The Pub we were going to was closed. So we turned up at The Bush hungry at the wrong time of day but the lovely Landlord offered to cook for us and rustled up fabulous Fish and Chips and chocolate sponge and ice cream for pud. We spent a lovely afternoon in the terrace garden area eating and chatting. Only shame was; as the kitchen was officially closed we didn't get chance to try the delicious sounding Indian Dishes. But we are back to the UK at Christmas so will definitely go back and rectify that!! Read moreHave visited the pub several times over the past few years during the International west Kent run. Used to love the food but this year was such a disappointment. I got the Bush burger and it was a cheap frozen burger which had no taste. Every time the pub used to be busy but this visit it was empty on a friday night. A friend ordered lasagna which wasnt great and had more cheese on top then filling. 2 others ordered curry which was ok... hope they turn things around. We looked else where to eat the following...
