Iiving in Tunbridge wells means low quality Indian food so the Cinnamon Kitchen can easily stand out. The service was good on the whole, some staff were extremely friendly and others looked grumpy, no complaints. Starters of lamb chops, duck tikka were cooked nicely and packed flavour, presentation was good. Main course I ordered the spiciest dish, this wasn’t very hot but next time I will get them to add more chilli. I do like hot food. The rest of my party (4 in total) were happy although a couple of dishes tasted too sweet for me, but that’s me. Sides were all good including the tarka dhal . Bill? Including 3 starters , 4 mains, 2 rice, dhal , spinach side , 6 popadoms , 2 ice cream desserts, 3 beers , 2 J2Os , 2 cokes and an Irish coffee. £190 (including service charge). I wouldn’t say it was outstanding but I’ll definitely go back.

Atmosphere and service was friendly. Food portions were large and appetisers were good, food wasn’t extremely impressive but it was still good — as in, some other reviews seem to overhype it a bit (personal opinion) some of the dishes were slightly dry and the flavour profiles from some curries were not as impactful as I was expecting. Pistachio kulfi didn’t taste very pistachio like. The lamb dishes were my favourite out of the items I’ve tried, garlic naan was also very fresh and soft. Overall a good experience. Nothing bad to say 🫶

If you’re looking for a place that blends elegance with an inviting atmosphere, this restaurant near Holden Borough Rail Station is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the royal decor and aristocratic ambiance make a strong impression.

The interior is tastefully designed, giving guests a feeling of luxury without being overwhelming. It's an ideal spot if you're hoping to dine in a setting that feels both refined and welcoming.

The hygiene standards here are commendable. Every dish served appears fresh, well-prepared, and carefully presented. The flavors are rich yet balanced, proving that the kitchen team takes pride in their culinary craftsmanship.

Whether you’re ordering a full-course meal or just enjoying a light bite, you can expect consistency in both taste and cleanliness.

The staff are equally impressive—highly professional, courteous, and always attentive without being intrusive. Their calm demeanor enhances the overall dining experience.

This restaurant is also a wonderful choice for celebrating special occasions. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or even a small gathering with friends, the atmosphere adds a touch of class to any event.

Its convenient location—just a short walk from Holden Borough Rail Station—makes it easily accessible. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quality, cleanliness, and a royal dining...

I really do no understand some of the negative reviews on this place. It seems people will take the time to go online and leave a negative review, not a good one.

Well this place is superb. Always clean and well presented. The food is outstanding. I think too many people get sucked in by going to the same dingy curry houses and getting the same chicken tikka massala and thinking it's the best. Anything different is therefore not as good. Rubbish, the food is so good that we have converted numerous people, just by taking them here to eat.

The food is full of flavour, not at all greasy, and served in good portions.

With regards to the service, it can completely depend on who is serving you. 99% of the time it will be one of the very friendly members of staff who treat you with a smile and always remember a familiar face. The only issue I see with the service is when you call a passing member of staff who doesn't have as good English as the rest. I feel this may be the cause for some negative service reviews. They must recognise this, as sometimes a better English speaker will be sent over to you after you have tried explaining yourself to the first person. I must stress though that THIS IS RARE. We often have a joke and a laugh with our...

Located near Hildenborough train station, Cinnamon Square is in a very nice, convenient location, but my experience was a mix of positives and negatives.

Service at the restaurant was not as prompt as one would expect. It took nearly an hour before anyone asked for our order, and only after bringing this to the attention of the manager. This aspect of the visit was somewhat disappointing. However, the drinks waiter was on point having already served us drinks and a second round.

When the food finally arrived, it presented a blend of familiar and subtly flavors. The dishes were well-prepared, but nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. The overall experience was not extraordinary, but some may find comfort in the familiar flavors and well-executed dishes.

The restaurant itself is attractively designed and benefits from its location in the tranquil surroundings of Hildenborough, coupled with its proximity to the train station. The venue is large and open, making it a relaxing place to dine.

In conclusion, Cinnamon Square Indian offers a reliable option for those seeking Indian cuisine in a comfortable setting. While the service was not as efficient as desired, the restaurant provides a well-prepared meal even if it wasn't anything...
