The Star Pub — Restaurant in Uttlesford

TONI AND GUY PETERBOROUGH We booked the Star Brasserie for our Christmas Party/Team Building. From the beginning of the booking via telephone till the very end had great communication and great customer service from Andrea and her team. This continued with a very warm welcome throughout. We booked Sunday Roast, which consisted of selection of meats, yorkshire pudding and vegetables. We put in a special request of cauliflower cheese, as this was not on the menu..and yep, they got it!! Ian the chef delivered our request and the food was delicious !! They even got involved in our wicked sense of humour with a game of "describe the chef" overall a fantastic experience with these guys!! Photo was taken by Michelle @ The Star Brasserie

Wow. What a fantastic night we had at the singing competition yesterday evening, expertly run by Layla. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere and a lovely community spirit throughout. The staff worked so hard and gave great service to the packed pub run by Lisa and Mick. We sampled the hawaiian pizza and cheesy chips, which were very nice indeed. Well worth the trip from Cromer to this beautiful village in the heart of the Essex countryside. Annie and I are really looking forward to returning to The Star in the near future. It appears that the owners' idea of turning this former restaurant into a family pub has really paid...

We were lucky enough to have Rebecca kindly agree for us to have our wedding reception at The Star! We were so pleased that we chose this amazing little brasserie to invite our loved ones too after we got married. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The pub itself inside is so pretty and the garden area just perfect. All our guests said how lovely it was too. We are planning on returning next week for our 1 year anniversary for a bite to eat and drink.
