I took my two children for brunch as a treat. We had sausage sandwiches and one bacon sandwich. Bacon was just right however the sausages - I’m not even sure I had 1 sausage between my two slices of bread, I was really disappointed for what the sandwich cost to find i had more bread than meat. Attached a photo and I won’t be going again.

Nice little locally run cafe. All home made and fresh but not cheap. You have to pay for the location and quality. The garden is beautiful and very well kept.

Lovely peaceful place with birds singing while we had a drink and scones in the garden. Other people were having lunch that also looked good.

Had expected great things after reading the reviews. Started well as there was free parking, but felt things went downhill from there. The food is rather expensive. We had a baguette, at £6 each. The garden only has picnic tables, but chairs were available in another area of the garden. I went to the window to ask if we could get a chair/sit in there. The guy who was in the kitchen, just shouted out rather rudely I AM COOKING!!! I pressed on to the kiosk area and asked the woman who served us, who was lovely and said she would have one popped up to us. As I walked back I passed the window and heard the woman repremand this guy for his attitude!! The chap appeared and plonked the chair down abruptly. He brought our food but didn't give us serviettes, condiments or a knife etc. Again I had to trot to the woman to ask for these. The service had a lot to be desired. The highlight of our visit was the wonderful old chap next door, singing in his garden and popping his head over the fence for a chat,...

A friend and I had lunch here the other day. It's charming. We sat outside in the immediate garden (with the Fairford Air Show roaring above us!). There's also a bigger garden which carters for families with children. For the size of the tea room I thought the menu was varied; everything is homemade. We chose simple but delicious sandwiches, followed by cakes and ice cream. This is only the second cafe I've visited that serves Russian Caravan tea, my favourite. so more brownie points! From the cafe it's an easy walk down to the riverbank. As I'm fairly local, will definitely return soon. A...

Absolutely gorgeous spot, very friendly family run cafe with a glorious garden (the photo on the trip advisor listing does not do it justice!). Called in for lunch on father's day, sat in the garden. Kids had an excellent value kids meal with quality Kelmscott (v. local) ham sandwiches (whole sandwich) even included a homemade flapjack, grownups had a (very yummy) Kelmscott sausage and onion baguette and a roast chicken baguette, followed by lovely ice-creams. Cafe is...
