The Gulshan Brasserie (Shrivenham) — Restaurant in Vale of White Horse

Very poor experience - ordered a take away of the Gulshan Special with a couple of changes to the set menu agreed on the phone. One of the changes was not made, the main meal was far from as described, a chicken massala was ordered (all dishes are advertised as chicken breast) my meal was a leg on the bone with a mixed grill thrown in (apparently all meals cannot be described fully in the menu!!), also the food was almost cold despite only a 10 min journey home. Rang to complain, was told on 2 separate phone calls that a manager would ring back without success. Eventually, after a personal trip to the restaurant a refund was obtained. The decor wasn't great however it was clean. The waiting staff were helpful and friendly and explained the Friday banquet night deal to us. Our food was served quickly and hot however it was tasteless, the ingredients were cheap and my partners mixed grill was a load of chicken and a sausage. When the bill came I was in shocked at the price for the quality of the food received. I would have given it a minus 1 if it had one, staff and service was terrible. Food was nice, but it came out in dribs and crabs so we were not all eating together. We had rang and booked the table and when we arrived they said that we hadn't. We were shown to a table not ready and they plonked all cutlery down and chucked our napkins at us.
